“Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to in Louisiana!

I’ve been to Louisiana twice and have eaten at at least 10 different restaurants, and B Sweet Bistro is easily the BEST one I’ve been to. Everything we had was SO good. I genuinely have no notes!

My friend and I went around the time they had just opened, and the space was intimate, and super cute. Everything was decorated so nicely, even the bathroom! 😂 And the bathroom smelled like strawberry pound cake, which was honestly perfect for the vibe.

We took an Uber there and even asked our driver if he knew about the restaurant. He said he was vegan and hadn’t eaten there, but mentioned that the fact that B Sweet Bistro had been in that location for years spoke volumes. If I remember correctly, they were celebrating five years around the time we visited. After eating there, I completely understood why they’ve been there so long!

Chef B came to our table, told us about the menu, checked on us, and asked how we were enjoying everything. The customer service was great.

And we ordered A LOT. 😂 We got the seafood beignets, Banana Foster beignets, sweet potato beignets, Catfish Mardi Gras, and gumbo. Everything was delicious.

The seafood beignets are a MUST. You could actually taste all the seafood and everything that was in them. So flavorful!

The Banana Foster beignets were probably my favorite of the sweet beignets. The sweet potato ones were also really good, but I preferred the banana. We were told we could add ice cream to the Banana Foster beignets for an additional charge, but we passed because we had already ordered so much food. After we ate them, we definitely regretted not getting the ice cream. 😂 Not because they needed it because they were amazing without it, but because we realized they could've been even better with ice cream. Basically, a 10 could've become a 20!

The Catfish Mardi Gras was also delicious. The menu said it came with grits, and my friend and I are BIG grit people, so we were expecting grits. Ours came with rice instead, and we were told that rice is normally the side and the grits were a newer addition. Since the menu said grits, we would've preferred to get them, but honestly, the dish was still so good that we didn't make a big deal about it. We tore that plate up! 😂 If you specifically want grits, I would just confirm the side when ordering.

And the gumbo was delicious easily the best gumbo I had in New Orleans. I tore that up too. 😂

They also have prepared sweets and treats available, and our food didn't take long to come out.

My ONLY regret is that I didn't go back a second time before leaving New Orleans. Normally, when I travel, I like trying different restaurants instead of going back to the same place, but I genuinely wish I had made an exception this time.

If I could DoorDash B Sweet Bistro to Virginia right now, I would. 😂

When I go back to New Orleans, B Sweet Bistro will be my first stop, and I already know I'll probably be going more than once on my next trip. That's how good it was.

And please excuse the lack of good food pictures I was too busy eating! 😂

10/10. 5 stars. Absolutely recommend.“

“I love this place for a healthy lunch. I tried the teriyaki salmon bowl from KiKi Poke Bowl and added fresh mango and their delicious seaweed salad among many other things that were included in the price, and it was so fresh and delicious. I absolutely recommend this place!!

Also got some fresh coconut water from Suga which was very hydrating and tasted great. Overall 10/10 experience.“

“First time-The atmosphere was nice. The service was good, the server was nice. The food was good, based on your personal preference, the fried dumplings were great, the spring roll were great, but the peanut sauce was bland, the wonton soup with egg noodle was delicious, however the broth was on the sweet side.“

“We had the smokehouse burger and the one that had potato chips on it. Both were very good. The French fries were pretty good too. The onion rings were amazing. It was a little pricey But considering it's located in a casino that's to be expected. We would definitely return.“
