“Veteran run business. Has beer. Beer good. Come here. Outside patio with tvs. There are businesses next to it with food that only serve until around noon but has a food truck that comes around 5. They don't serve food here aside from chips or whatever snacks they be peddling. Great place. Founder himself served us beer and was a lot of fun to talk with.“
“Wow, what a surprise - the beer aficionado's brewery to visit away from the touristy part of town. Focusing heavily on mixed fermentation (read: tart/brett styles) and saisons, with a smattering of enough others to satisfy groups. Serene outdoor area, except when the trains go right by the door (such is life). And a great value. Loved it.“
“4.5, but rounding up. -0.5 for being at the rougher edge of the French Quarter and having a tight indoor space. But making up for it with multiple GABF award-winning beer styles (there aren't many in NOLA), focused on Czech lagers. Great, new, covered outdoor area. Super friendly and informed staff. Alternative scene.“
“Jesse and Ciara are absolutely amazing. Totally knowledgeable about their craft, and overwhelmingly passionate about their products.Even during mardi gras- the busiest time of the year in this city- my guest and I felt wholly prioritized. You drink here NOW!“
“My husband and I stumbled upon this place after a long walk visiting NOLA. The BBQ burger was THE BEST burger my husband and I have ever had. We requested crispy bacon, and the cook absolutely delivered. The portions were very generous. The Tchoup sauce and pepper jelly were outstanding! I highly recommend the dark amber beer to go with it. If we lived closer, we'd come here often! Thanks for making our day so great and special, Urban South!“
“After having a late lunch at a nearby vegan restaurant, we saw that a brewery was nearby and strolled over. This brewery has a fun setup with dart boards and video games. Lots of space for groups or just to hang out on your own with a book. The owner was bartending and shared a little bit of the story about his brewery. Very friendly and engaging guy who let me sample a few beers. It seems like a great place if you are into sports as there were a number of big screen TVs with different games going on.“
“One of my favorite breweries (and definitely my favorite brewpub) in NOLA, and the only place I visited more than once in a recent trip. Beers exhibited a wide, thoughtful range, suitable for a beer aficionado or newcomer more interested in Southern food and barbecue (both of which were stellar). High-end service. Convenient to convention areas and hotels.Kid-friendliness: Accessible, but I didn't notice the kids' menu (wasn't looking while on business). But price point and atmosphere may not be the most suitable.“
“I got the Cauliflower roti roll up (2!) and the French fries. So. Damn. Good. I started with one roll up but had to get another for the road…The fries were also perfectly cooked and came with tasty aioli. I also got the feta bites (made me question why I stopped eating cheese) that came with a tiki masala sauce that was to die for. Owen (the chef) can make easy substitutions for plant- based/veggie folks- just ask, if he has ingredients he’ll do it. I love how he rotates his menu while still keeping some of his specialities always available. Will be coming back!“
“Beautiful spot! The aesthetics and the beer are everything. I love how they keep the beer and the brewery super clean, plus everyone there is super nice too. As a woman, it’s important to me to feel welcomed at a brewery and not treated like I know nothing about beer. The bathrooms (3) all have different themes too, which is pretty cool! Highly recommend this spot.“
“Super solid sleeper - not as glamorous as some of the other breweries around NOLA, but with multiple GABFs and a World Beer Cup medal for their beers. Really appreciated the nuanced brett/aged options, and I'm a fan of any spicy beer (Pineapple Habanero IPA). Killer pizza lunch special, too. Huge slices. Loved the lemon base.“
“I've only heard great things about the IPAs and saisons from locals and other brewers, but all of them had kicked when I visited on a recent weeknight. The bartender didn't really know the details about the beers they did have left. Still enjoyed what I had (a hazy pale ale with a Belgian twist). Relaxed vibe, plenty of space. And two good food options that split nights. Liked it overall.“
“Our first visit to Faubourg Brewing. We found a nice selection of frees and nice brew hall. If I was a little less windy we have enjoyed the large front yard. The Autumn Haze and Oktoberfest beers are tasty. We’ll try a few more before we go.“
“Absolutely great venu with beautiful decorations. The beer is solid and a wide selection, something for most folks. If you have been there in the past, their flavor profile changed (at least the beers I had) to a less sweet taste in their beers.“
“Went for a lunch special--2 slices of pizza, salad and beer or tea for $9.99. Great deal. Pizza slices were big thin crust with various toppings. Nice beer selection. Some IPAs and sours. We found something we liked. They also offered hero sandwiches, pizzas and other fare. Nice deck for warmer weather. Pizza was decent. I'm not a big fan of thin crust, but this was good, if a little greasy. We had a couple of flavored IPAs and the blond. All we're good. Will definitely return when we visit again.“
“Rated G for good place for families. They have a nice set of train tracks for the kids, a bounce house, and great picnic tables. No 5 stars here because of no liquor but the beertender, Ian, had great personality. Check it out with the kids.“
“Might be the best brewery in Nola. Very imaginative (and delicious) beers, with no fear about mixing things up a bit. Their pours tend toward exacting flavors, well presented, with no fluff, as you would expect from someone that knows exactly what they are doing.“
