Fantastic neighborhood brewery that serves a great selection of beer and food. This place has also become a cornerstone for locals to meetup for relaxing conversations and other neighborhood activities. They’ve done a fantastic job at cleaning up a once dark, dirty dead-end street, and turned it into a shining gem in Midcity. The kids love the bounce house and open green space on the weekends.

We held an after-wedding farewell crawfish boil here on Bacchus Sunday and had an amazing time! Nathalia and the team were so accommodating, letting us set up and cook our crawfish on-site. The space is perfect for large gatherings, with picnic tables, a bounce house for the kids, slushies for non-drinkers, and excellent service—we highly recommend!

Second Line Brewing is a family-friendly and LGBTQIA+ welcoming brewery, known for its great craft beer, friendly service, and lively atmosphere. Located outdoors, it often features a food truck and offers seltzers for kids. The brewery has a wide selection of beers, with at least 15 options plus athletic beers, non-alcoholic drinks such as water, soft drinks, and n/a frozen drinks. The atmosphere is lively, and the prices are quite reasonable. For adults, their hazy IPA is a popular choice, and they also sell the Coffee Blonde, a favorite beer that is seasonal. The brewery hosts trivia nights, has a loyalty program, and is dog friendly. It is also kid friendly, with a bounce house upstairs near the restrooms, and an outdoor patio that is especially enjoyable on spring evenings. While they could extend their hours, it remains a favorite neighborhood hangout for many, though some visitors feel it resembles more of a daycare that happens to serve beer, as kids sometimes roam freely.
