“Would rate higher than five stars if it were possible. Loved everything about this place from the location to food and atmosphere. The service was top-notch!

This is the perfect after evening out spot where vegans and omni's can grab a great dog, some tots, and a beer. A good time was had by all, the vegan brat was incredible! I HIGHLY suggest this spot. Dat dog, you can bet I'll be back!

“We stopped for an early dinner while traveling through. Searched soul food and this popped up as a result. Did not disappoint! Definitely hit the spot. Friendly staff and great food!“

“Gentleman that took my order over the phone was very helpful and professional. My order was ready when I arrived to pick it up just over 10 minutes later and the food was delicious. I ordered a fried shrimp poboy and the bread was super fresh, the shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, nice size and well portioned. I also ordered a side of fries and they were plentiful, crispy and well seasoned. Highly recommend. Great neighborhood spot!“

“When's a good time to have a hotdog for dinner? When it's Monday and the work week has already been so stressful you can't even think about cooking. I landed at Dat Dog on a Monday evening in September because I wanted to eat outside and they have a really large yard for outdoor diners. As the weather has become less insufferable, I've been looking for patio dining. Plus, the inside dining area of this place is a downer so that made the decision easier. I chose the first thing on the menu, Jimmy's Chicago 'Dog. I've only ever had a Chicago hotdog at O'hare and Sonic, so this one exceeded my expectations. Frankly, I loved it. My food partner got the Bacon Werewolf and she said it was very, very good because bacon.“

“Checked out this hidden gem for coolinary month! 3 courses for $36 was a fantastic deal! Cocktails and food were delicious. My favorite items were the dill cracklins, shrimp gnocchi, and chocolate torte. I hope they open on Saturdays soon. Will be back!“

The corn bread, mac and collard greens were oh so good! Totally recommend the Kickin' strips as well! 100% recommend this place!“
