How do I rate this place higher than a 5??? The atmosphere is welcoming and amazing. Such a great spot to find after wandering the streets all day. Now let’s get into the food. I did the alligator hot dog my first night and immediately knew I had to come back. The second night I customized my alligator hot dog and I couldn’t believe my taste buds. This food kills. 25/10
I’m recommending because they’re open late and offer alcoholic beverages. I’m not a lover of hotdogs. Especially since I have been eating vegetarian lately. I’m happy they have vegetarian options. Several. Diner vibes, cool music choices, and good service.Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian options!

I went to Dat Dog on a visit to NOLA and it didn't dissapoint. A nice sports hot-dog bar where the staff is quite friendly.I ordered the ROUGAROU (Aligator sausage with bacon bits, grilled onions, tomato, japaleño and mustard and bbq sauces). Such a nice hotdog well loaded with amazing taste, the bun was able to hold all that meat and sauce perfectly.
