We were in town for the French Quarter Festival and wanted a breakfast. Biscuits and Buns were highly recommended. When we arrived, we were greeted by Brittany and Charlie. What was most unique is that upon entering, you come through the kitchen which gives a warm home feel. Our service was impeccable. The variety of breakfast on the menu was amazing and the biscuits had to be from God’s hands himself. Stopped in this morning for breakfast and fell in love. Staff had the best attitudes and were very personal. Great waitress, and every interaction we had with staff was great. I ordered the big back biscuit and was even more impressed. I loved it! Their biscuits are in a league of their own I can’t even find the words to describe them but definitely top tier. Highly recommend this place, we’ll definitely be coming back when we are back in town❤️ I actually took a picture...read full review

Biscuits & Buns on Banks is a quaint spot known for its great food and lively atmosphere. The omelet had too much cheese, but the grits and biscuit were perfect. The waffle with blueberries was a standout dish, and the fried fish was fried to a golden brown with plenty of flavor. The crawfish boudin balls were crispy outside and flavorful inside. The breakfast burger and shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the pork chops were seasoned and fried perfectly. The atmosphere is busy and family-friendly, with sidewalk trees, cultural artwork, and a great music playlist. The eggs Benedict and crawfish etouffee were seasoned to perfection, making it one of the best meals had in a long time. The staff is great, and the waitress, Jas, is known for being patient and personable. Despite occasional long waits, the food is delicious and definitely worth it. This spot is a gem worth visiting, and many plan to return.
