“Slightly delayed review but who cares. While I no longer live in New Orleans, this is one of my favorite places I’d been to. I still dream of my dinner from NYE 2022 🤤 I believe it was a rabbit mole, which was absolutely 🔥 and the huitlacoche quesadilla. The mole is forever imprinted on my soul!“

“Hands down this is the best taco truck in New Orleans. Great service. You can go spend 20 minutes in the drive-through at McDonald’s around the corner or you could get 100 times better quality food at this taco truck in less than 10 mins. Highly recommend. this is my go-to for lunch. Family owned, local people you should support. Cash only yes, and do leave a tip, these people work so hard and are there every damn day ready to feed me great authentic food.“
“Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take a before picture of the chicken quesadilla but I do have an after picture lol. That was by far one of the best quesadillas I’ve ever eaten. It’s spicy and very delicious. I wanted to take a picture of my food but it was so good that I couldn’t stop eating it. ? Also here’s a pic of the truck. When I come back, I will update a new picture of the chicken quesadilla plate before I eat it, probably tomorrow.“

“Favela Chic has a wonderfully funky vibe and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than planned. The music was fantastic, adding energy and character without overwhelming the space. It feels lively, creative, and distinctly New Orleans, with plenty of personality in every corner. Whether you're stopping by for drinks, live music, or just to soak in the ambiance, it's a memorable spot that captures the city's unique spirit. A great find and somewhere I'd happily return to.“

“I got a chicken taco, and steak taco. Both were delicious!
The guy taking my order suggested the steak, but actually I liked the chicken even more.
The green sauce they had was FIRE.
BUT I got a chips and queso and I was not impressed. It tasted like melted American. But burnt or something.
But maybe it was just an off day. Either way I would highly recommend this place if you are in Algiers Point!“
