Sunday afternoon is my favorite day to be at the golden lantern. There are two amazing no cover shows and two wonderful bartenders! Friendly and welcoming for everyone. Truly an amazing place!
Super cool place to hang. They have great drink prices and are totally cool if you bring in outside food, a rarity. We grabbed food at the Verti Mart down the street but had no where to eat, we saw this great little bar and asked if they minded and they did not. They didn't even ask us to purchase anything, although six drinks later we were still enjoying their hospitality!
One of my fave gay bars in thr quarter! I love the laid back dive vibe and you never know who youll meet in here to strike up good convo! They have jello shots as well. Def a must stop of youre a part of the community and even if youre not its a great spot to be!!!
