“Visiting New Orleans from Pennsylvania over the Fourth of July, we asked a few locals near our hotel where we could find a true neighborhood dive bar. Every road seemed to lead to Erin Rose, and they absolutely nailed it.

This place has everything you want in a dive bar—cold drinks, zero pretentiousness, and a crowd that makes you at home. The bartenders were the real stars of the show. Super engaging, quick with a drink, and happy to chat. We ended up getting a fun history lesson on Vodoo and she made the experience even more memorable.

The biggest surprise? There's an incredible po'boy spot tucked in the back, so you can grab tasty sandwich a few steps from your barstool.

If you're looking to skip the tourist traps and experience a genuine New Orleans neighborhood bar, this is the spot. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.“

“A nice upscale and comfortable environment for learning more about Irish immigrants coming to New Orleans. Wonderful history and even better tastes of Ireland. The espresso martini and Irish lemonade are really refreshing and delicious.“

“It helps that this pub is directly across the street from our hotel. That’s worth +2 in my book even with horrible service and low choices in spirts. However, this place is great! I woke up every day, and had a pregame brunch dink(s) served by an awesome bartender Todd. Perfectly personable with drops of NOLA history and places to visit (sightseeing and food). 5 stars! “Great Sports bar. Big tvs all around the pub. You order food separately from the bar and Oyster bar. My friend ordered a burger and fries great special sauce. The seasoning on the fries was spicy which I loved. I ordered Oysters and the gentleman was amazing. He was friendly, helpful and his Oysters were delicious!! Personally I thought it was the highlight. The mixed drinks were well made the bartender was better than most. Honestly this was the first trip were a bartender just didnt stand out with that southern hospitality. However the Oysters were so good we will be back for that alone! The Oysters were so good forgot to take a picture before I slurped them all down! My bad!“
