Went to New Orleans in April. Pretty sure this was the best bar I visited. Only had a couple pints, but service was friendly and I loved the bar.
My bartender talked to me about the Knicks for a while. I told him they would probably choke against Boston in the playoffs but guess what? Knicks in 5! This is a shout out to that great bartender! See you next time, man!

We came with a large group and swamped them with orders for food and drinks. The staff was so great and the food was delicious. The house punch was yummy.
Book crew invaded this bar last night, I don't think they were expecting a large group of mostly women wearing purple...that wanted to eat and drink! The food section only had 1 person working and we bombarded him, but he was soooooo awesome! He did have to call in some backup, but they got us all taken care of! The drinks were amazing, bartender was awesome and the house Irish punch was divine! Thanks for helping us have a great night!

The Channel is a great spot to catch a game or unwind with friends in the Garden District. It offers well-priced cocktails, good beers, and multiple sports screens, making it a good stop for lunch if visitors are on the Hop On Hop Off bus route. The friendly and attentive staff provide a warm atmosphere, and the food, including the tasty cheeseburger and the unforgettable Firecracker Fried Shrimp Po’ Boy, is fantastic. Guests have enjoyed the New Orleans sampler and meat pies as well. A hidden gem, it is perfect for a night out or a quick drink. The personable bartenders often share stories, adding to the enjoyable experience.
