“What a phenomenal experience at LUFU! The food was amazing with rich flavors and the service was exceptional. We enjoyed all of the recommendations our waiter gave and enjoyed his conversation. We will definitely add this to our “must haves” when visiting New Orleans.“
“It’s been a while since we visited Plume, but we have always had SUCH a great experience! The food is delicious - my favs include the fried chicken and the naan. If you can’t eat in, the food travels/delivers very well to your house and is still very yummy!“
“I checked out Namaste Nola on a whim and am so happy I did. Staff were kind and service was quick. The cheese naan was beyond delicious. The Palak Paneer was some of the best I've ever had. It is located in the same main door as subway and was a little difficult to find. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for Indian in NOLA“
“We were in New Orleans celebrating a friend's milestone birthday and decided to try an Indian restaurant for dinner. We picked Saffron based on yelp reviews. The entire dinner was an amazing experience - right from the cocktails to the appetitzers and then the entrees and dessert, each dish was bursting with flavor and authenticity. We had ordered the fish which came with a dollop of curd rice and pickle! We loved it so much that we asked if they could send us seconds of the curd rice. I would like to throw and big shout out to our amazing waiter Landon who always had a smile on his face and was spot on with his recommendations. The highlight of the day was the chef who graciously came out and checked in on each table. You can see his passion reflected in each of the dishes served today. It has been an amazing experience. If you are in NOLA or visiting, do check out this gem of a restaurant.“
“we have been there on numerous occasions .consistent great foods ,cooked to perfection ,extra ordinary wine selections at very reasonable price points ,and excellent service staff.,happy hours are also great as are the weekly free new wine samples, all staff are very knowledgeable and food is perfectly prepared ,will continue to eat here“
“Our 2nd day in NOLA we stopped in for bagels. I had the dharma bagel. Such wonderful flavour. We went back a second time and I had the same bagel and brought a deconstructed dharma bagel back to Canada for my daughter to taste! It’s the only place we went back for more on our visit. The coffee shop inside was an added bonus. The service in this establishment was friendly. Very local vibe but open to visitors too! Highly recommend!“
“I went there with my family. The server was very welcoming and helpful. I absolutely loved the dosa and dal tadka. I also ordered paneer and butter roti. The dal and roti took me straight back to India. The paneer tikka was a little more Americanized. I would have like the paneer tikka to be a little more authentic. I would recommend you to also get salty lassi there (chaas)“
“I have been coming here for many years. They have so many vegan options and are very accommodating to vegans and vegetarians. The atmosphere is always pleasant and love the aromas that linger from the kitchen. The service is top notch and the food is amazing!“
“My family decided to try something new today, so this was our first time eating Indian cuisine and our waiter, Sandip, made it the best experience and saw to it that we wouldn't regret our decision. He suggested a variety of dishes which were All delicious. This was a rare instance in my family were everyone was happy with their meal! This was literally the best service which I have received at any restaurant, no exaggeration! To top it off, the bill was much lower than I was expecting. We will definitely de regular patrons here and encourage you to try something new. Thank you again Sandip!“
“Saffron is one our favorite places in New Orleans. We usually make the reservations a month ahead to make sure we get in. The cocktails are top of the line at Saffron! The charbroiled oysters served with naan bread are the best I've ever tasted. Friends that came with us could not stop talking about them. For the table we ordered Pork Vindaloo, a few orders of chicken Biryani, one of the specials, a kebob dish, and a few gumbos. Every dish was better than the last. The food here is amazing! Saffron's staff are very attentive and the restaurant is so warm and inviting with ambient lighting. The bar is great, too.“
“The place is geographically located close to the airport on a busy street.Restaurant offers Tasty food, the staff is caring. Portion size is pretty large compared to lots of other similar restaurants. There's a free parking lot as well.Parking: Free parking lot“
“We tried Mantra in Metairie off Causeway for the first time yesterday. It was absolutely delicious! It’s located inside of an old Denny’s building but don’t let that fool you. Inside is nice and super clean. Had Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer, garlic naan and it comes with servings of basmati rice. Super yummy! We’ll be returning for sure! Prices are reasonable, and the staff was very friendly. Wish they would open one in Mandeville area too. Still, it’s worth a trip, especially if you’re heading into the city for an evening out.“
“I wasn’t even hangry and just wanted a cocktail! Came here with some hungry dudes. Turned out this place had cocktails! And once the food arrived I had to try it anyway!Wow! Honestly some of the most delicious Indian food I’ve EVER had!Sherwyn was fun, too!“
