Had breakfast at the M Club Lounge at New Orleans Marriott—a modern, chic, and relaxing space right by the lobby. Great way to start the morning, but the real highlight was the beignets! Warm, fluffy, and delicious. I’m calling it: the BEST beignets in NOLA. Fight me! 😂☕✨

Excellent M Club lounge in a not-so-excellent hotel. The lounge really is a redeeming factor for the hotel. Wonderful complimentary breakfast every morning, a wide spread of snacks in the evening (although variety could be better), and friendly staff.
The only thing I would change is to turn down the music. The lounge should be a place to catch some respite and peace from the chaos of the hotel lobby. Loud music spoils the atmosphere. Also, maybe play some classical music...read full review

The atmosphere is generally relaxing, but some reviews suggest that loud music, especially non-stop 90's pop and R&B, can detract from the peaceful environment; softer music like classical might be better.
The location is very convenient, sitting at the corner of Canal Street and Chartres Street, right in the French Quarter. Guests can easily walk to nearby restaurants, bars, jazz clubs, and attractions like the Sazerac House and Mahogany Jazz Hall, making it a great base for exploring the city. The hotel itself is decent, with clear instructions needed to navigate the tablet-like elevator panels to reach different areas such as the rooms, conference halls, and amenities. There is a bar and a restaurant on the lobby floor, along with a coffee bar that resembles Starbucks and a convenience mart. Escalators connect to the second and third floors for easy access to the ballrooms and conference rooms. Additional amenities include luggage storage, a business center with a FedEx desk, and standard hotel pricing for food and drinks.
Rooms are comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, a desk and chair for working, and a cozy chair with a standing lamp for relaxing. The bathroom is somewhat cramped in width but offers enough space on the counter for toiletries. Room service is prompt for extra pillows and towels, especially when housekeeping temporarily forgot to return them after cleaning. Overall, the experience is solid, with the prime location and friendly staff making it a recommended choice for visitors wanting to explore the French Quarter and nearby attractions.
