This was recommended to us by a friend. Their burgers are AMAZING. Cute little short menu. The bar area was a little crowded but that is to be expected in New Orleans. The prices are unbeatable. Bar is one area, then there is a walk thru to order your food. They have seating in there, but you can take your food back to bar area. Outside seating as well. A pool table is also available. Original Slap Burger offers a purposefully rough and divey atmosphere, which adds to the experience. The burgers are outstanding and seasoned well, with the OG and the Heater being favorites. The fries are described as perfection, and the basket of fries is perfect to share. The staff is always the nicest, friendly, and attentive, making sure your food is just the way you want it. The prices are fair, and the food is delicious. The restaurant is highly recommended, though it can get crowded at times. They take cards, but cash is needed for drinks from the bar. The simple menu includes fresh, great flavors, and the Cuban flan remains an unexpected highlight. Definitely worth a stop in.
