“The young lady that was working the window was very helpful when there was a small mix up with my order. They were extremely busy at the time so I wasn't horribly upset about the mix up but the other customer was being very rude from the minute she walked up. She went from being just plain ignorantly rude for no reason to being blatantly disrespectful and nasty. I was seconds away from stepping in myself because it was more than clear to me that Ciara was doing her job to the best of her abilities and she wasn't even responsible for the order mix up. What I didn't realize was that she was not in need of my help at all, she took a deep breathe and in the largest show of respect or best example of "being the bigger person" I've ever experienced in my life she told her what she needed to tell her with a smile on her face the whole time and when she was done she in the most polite way let her know that she was not to be disrespected. The woman was left literally speechless for a few awkward seconds and then I guess she realized she was WRONG all caps so she just tried to smile and say thank you before leaving? “We stopped in for a quick meal before heading to the airport, with 10 teenagers who play in a band for our show choirs here in Texas. They put some tables together for us and the kids enjoyed the fun diner atmosphere. The food was fantastic, portions were big enough to fill up our teenage boy's appetites, the staff were wonderful and made us feel right at home!“

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were well taken care of with the utmost hospitality. And the food!! Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. The fish, chicken, shrimp, Mac n cheese, and especially the crab cakes were all spectacular. Plus, the dessert! Do yourself a favor and check this place out.“

The customer service was fantastic- offered us sauces to try and made suggestions proofing to ordering. We had the mango Cajun, garlic parm, sweet red chili glaze and Louisiana hot. “I always stop at this Frostop every November after attending the Destrehan Festival a few minutes away. The burgers are always great (I recommend getting the burger "dressed"), and the root beer is delicious. My Grandma loved these burgers, she used to live nearby, and it's very nostalgic when I eat here.“
“We stopped in Dot's diner for breakfast. The breakfasts were huge servings. The service was friendly. We enjoyed our visit. We also had the beignet strips which were absolutely amazing. This is a must see when you're in New Orleans.“
“Man I love finding these ducked off restaurants. Wasn't sure we were in the right place cuz we didn't see the signage. Place was open and folks were coming in to pick up orders the whole time we were there. Staff was friendly and took care of us. I got the wings with Jamaican jerk and hot lemon pepper. Both were good but the Jamaican jerk was the star. Also got the loaded fries as the side which had cheese sauce, I think shredded cheese, and bacon. Not a fan of cheese sauce like that but it was still pretty good. I wouldn't get it the next time I went cuz I would want to try something else but I'd get it again. For the drink, I ordered the strawberry lemonade. Hands down the best strawberry lemonade I've had. Gotta mix up the drink a bit but you'll definitely be wanting more. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area“

“It's a diner and I love these places!! It reminds me of growing up, going to breakfast with my WWII/Korean war vet dad on a Saturday morning. Get breakfast at the diner, go to the dump, then hardware store... you get the picture. Sitting at the counter mere feet from the grill with a guy flipping eggs, fried potatoes, learning that men drink coffee black, etc. etc. The food is good old fashion American breakfast, and lunch. Great coffee, great service (the digital ordering thing is a bust) but the wait staff is great.Vegetarian options: If you want vegan, God are you at the wrong place. They have some options, but this is a diner, take the man bun somewhere else.Parking: Amazing open free parking lot.“
