“2 times now I have had to go to Mc Donald’s due to Burger King in Belle Chasse being completely rude and disrespectful. How ever upon placing my orders which were 25 double quarter pounders with cheese for one order and then 30 quarter pounders another day the entire crew rallied together with smiles and happily made our orders.“

“We found Backspace Bar for a nightcap our last night in NOLA and wished we would have found it earlier in our stay! The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and friendly. Rachel greeted us with a smile and delicious cocktails. While we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to eat there we met Dominique, chef extraordinaire, and saw some delicious smelling food come out to go. My husband & I will definitely be back and recommend you try them out for drinks, dinner, and/or dessert. We brought home the cheesecake! I’m sure you’ll love the place🤩“

“When I saw $21.95 for a 20oz ribeye I kinda chuckled in my head and expected a Waffle House type steak. I asked the waitress if it was good and she simply said “yeah, it’s good”. What transpired a few minutes later made me contemplate everything I thought I knew about a good ribeye. This thing was melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked, and had an absolutely astonishing flavor. Kick the price out the door. I live almost 4 hours away and would pay $80 for that steak as I type. It was so good I went back for another the next night. Gladly passing up all the other opportunities that NOLA has to offer. Weirdly the same people who we sat next to the night before were at the table next to us ordering the steak again. Astonishing what you get for the price. I could make a whole separate rant about how good the potato skins and gumbo are as well. Great job!!!! Best experience of our whole trip.“

“I’m a terrible planner so I had no idea where to eat dinner, and I trusted my gut when I walked by. The lunch counter burger was amazing- but the SAUCE! I dipped my fries in it even! It was so good. Finished my burger off with the Kitten Highball, and highly recommend it. It hit the spot after an 11 hour drive from hades. The staff were so laid back and I really enjoyed hearing their enthusiasm while discussing new ideas and flavors. And hearing their staff communicate and work as a team showed a level of care for their job too many lack. There was a regular there that just added to the conversation and atmosphere in the best way. The decor was on point with a splash of unique and “I need to know the story behind that”. I can’t complain. Even if you paid me. If I lived here it’d be a regular joint for me. Alcohol, ice cream, good food, good vibes and good music? Every box checked and then some.“

“Today is my son's 13th birthday and he's been a hothead/heat seeker for as long as I can remember. For perspective, he finally convinced Santa after 2 years to gift him the One Chip Challenge when he was 7. Today, his special request was to eat the hottest wings we could find, so my hubby found this place online last night. It's a short drive from Metairie, so although he wanted to do the Bayou Beast Challenge, we only had time to get a to-go order with all the other birthday errands we were running. We got a 6 piece of the Bayou Beast flavored wings. The gentleman checking us out was an absolute stand up guy who was equal parts concerned and impressed when he realized the order wasn't for me, but for the short kid standing next to me who told him he didn't want or need a dipping sauce. He even offered him a birthday coke (probably as a piece offering to the gods as an apology for what was going to transpire in my bathroom later🤣). Now to the fun part. I normally do these challenges with him, but today he wanted to fly solo. So I prepped the counter for him as usual with milk, yogurt, wipes etc. When I opened the box? YALL! The smell burned my eyes and instantly gave me PTSD from when I ate Da Bomb wing in the Hot Wings Challenge last year. My newly minted teenager the proceeded to smash all 6 in 5 minutes and did it like a pro without even a sip of water. I managed to get a single bite before they disappeared and I can guarantee you, the bathroom will be your sanctuary. I would not survive more than 2 as a grown adult. Maybe he's a glutton for punishment. Maybe he's a mutant. But what I do know is my dude is determined to beat that challenge and get that shirt and picture on the wall, so we'll be back very soon!“

“The food was delicious. I had the salmon pasta. It was perfect creamy, savory and cheesey. The salmon was seasoned to perfection and grilled just right. The atmosphere is a vibe with the bar and music made every just right. I went during happy hour so the drinks were buy one get one before 8. I had the frozen margaritas it was perfection.

I have eaten at hut 35 before and I had the lemon pepper chicken with fries and the boudin balls. Each time the food was hot and fresh. I can't wait to go back for more.

They were out of straws and she asked me did I want her to run down to the Smoothie King to grab some straws for me and my grand daughter. You don’t find many employees that would offer to do that. “Went here my first time in college 1977, age 22, walk in a girl grabbed my hand and had me dance with her. I was fairly awkward young guy, so this really boosted my confidence . It was such a memorable experience. I just remember having some beers and eating some delicious chicken wings and always coming here on a regular basis. I’m 69 years old. “Absolute LOVED Barcar! This locally owned spot has a well curated menu and a wide variety of beverages both alcohol
and mocktail!
The Steak Tartare and the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice are some of our faves and the Timesaver was an inventive and delicious drink.
I liked that the Staff had great recommendations and the Manager made us feel really welcome and checked to make sure everything was good.
I have not made Happy Hour yet but def on my radar because it goes til 6pm and also Bingo Night looks like a good time to break up the work week monotony.“

“The potato I had from here made me sleepy it was so good and full. Prices are a tad bit high. I had a roast beef on bun with the potato. Overall the potato needed a little more seasoning as well as the roast beef. It was packaged nice and full but when you eating roast beef you want the seasoning to chase it. To say I had a seafood potato it shouldn't have been bland. I would dine again for a different experience.“
