The restaurant serves all of the New Orleans favorites in a great atmosphere right by the Mississippi River. The food is fresh, delicious, and great, with great prices. Specific highlights include the poboy sandwiches, the gumbo, the chicken salad, the potato salad, and the chicken fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes. The roast beef sandwich is also noted. The restaurant is very clean, with quick and lovely service. It is friendly and easy to stop in to eat or get it togo, and is definitely worth a try.
