Red Fish Grill Reviews
The Mother's Day brunch was absolutely amazing. Fabulous food with plenty of choices, an incredibly talented jazz trio playing around the restaurant, and wait staff who seemed genuinely happy to be there. Clearly this is a business that values their employees. Thank you for making the day fantastic!!!
I first dined at Redfish Grill about a year ago. I don’t recall what I ordered but was not wowed by it. Nevertheless, I was willing to give the restaurant another try. So friends and I dined there last evening after the French Quarter Festival.
*I give the Redfish Grill high marks for their service staff, especially even after what must have been a grueling festival weekend.*
On the other hand, that was one of the worst restaurant meals I have ever eaten. The “rich”...read full review

Red Fish Grill in the French Quarter of New Orleans offers attentive service and flexibility with substitutions. The knowledgeable staff provides a pressure-free dining experience. The food quality is excellent, particularly the warm crab/ricotta dip with crostini, which is so full of flavor that it could easily be a meal on its own. The BBQ Oysters and the Wood Grilled Redfish with lump crab meat are incredible, with the latter served on a bed of tasso, mushrooms, peas, and potatoes in a lemon butter sauce. Portions are very large, and the chocolate bread pudding is a must-try, often described as almost illegal due to its deliciousness. The fish bites remain soft, delicate, and super tasty. The restaurant is nice and clean, with perfect temperature air conditioning, and it is easily wheelchair accessible.
While the menu may lack some traditional choices, the gluten-free options continue to impress. The quiet environment allows for a relaxing meal, making it a recommended spot for drinks and appetizers. The friendly and efficient staff contributes to an overall fantastic dining experience, showcasing the best of local fare and Cajun cuisine. Customers have appreciated the service, with one guest praising the delightful and entertaining waiter, Ike. However, there have been instances where service lagged after meals were served, leading to some disappointment, as in the case where a guest noted that Ike abandoned their table mid-meal. Overall, the restaurant remains a great choice for those wanting to experience American cuisine in New Orleans.
