“I give Westwego Seafood all five stars because they make delicious local seafood favorites at amazing pricing. I tried calling in to place a takeout order but no one picked up. Lucky for me, I was staying down the street so I popped in and placed my order in person. The order would be ready in 25 minutes so I left and ran errands. I came back and the food was ready. Get the full 12" poboys! My favorites are the shrimp and oyster poboys. The bread is fresh while the proteins are fried to perfection. Don't forget to add fries to your poboy.“
“The looks of the food does no justice. You have to actually try their food. Living in a world with so much inflation and bad unhealthy food, I left here feeling like I received my monies worth. I ate half my plate and I had energy to do other activities afterwards. I walked the French Quarter and didn’t feel tired. I finished the rest of my plate for dinner and instead of feeling tired and sleepy, I decided to come here and write this post. Worth every second of my time. Eating vegetables are an exciting experience, especially when you can eat them and feel good.“

“I took a chance to drive here w/ my wife from Baton Rouge. We've been fasting for Ramadhan, so I was praying they came through and didn't make me look bad in front of my wife. They offer the same sides w/o pork! I had the lamb chops, mixed greens, yams, potato salad and cornbread. My wife had the lamb chops and mac and cheese....The mac and cheese and cornbread were just okay in my opinion. Everything else was ???....Definitely ? them in!! I'll keep taking that ride w/o hesitation. Nice lil chill vibe inside. They didn't disappoint!“

“I heard about this place online, and they did not disappoint. The line was down the street. There were people from all over the country (FL, TX, MD, DC- and they weren't together)in line that came to visit and try their food. I wanted to try everything, but I got fish with a side of chicken, mac and cheese, and glazed/sweet green beans. Everything was so good. The chicken was so crispy and juicy. The catfish was flaky with crispy flavorful batter - and I don't even like catfish... let me say that! The portion sizes were amazing, and so was the customer service. They have Anointed Confections inside the store that sell the most delicious cakes, cupcakes, and pound cakes(not sure about pie) but dem cakes...look baby! Moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. “I was in the mood for some gumbo & stopped here after reading reviews. The reviews don't lie - their gumbo was Sooooo good! The best I've had with perfectly cooked sausage, shrimp, & chicken and just the right amount of kick. I loved that the combo came with grilled cheese & potato salad; it was the perfect balance. We also ordered the lobster mash and it was delicious! I only got a few bites before my husband devoured it. We'll definitely visit next time we're in NOLA.“

But from the first bite….this place has a customer for life and I’ll send everyone I know there. Even being delivered it was hot, fresh, and a great portion of food! The ribs were the best! Full on the food or not, you will be amiss if you don’t try the bread pudding. “Came in today and got their special of the day - the spaghetti. It was really good. Packed with flavor and very satisfying. Also had the mixed vegetables that were great as well. The service was great, everyone was kind and welcoming. I got mines to go, but there's a decent amount of seating inside. It's a very chill place to go to and relax while you eat. I'll definitely be back. I keep hearing about these seafood egg rolls, which I'll get on my next visit. Please go out and support these good people.“

“Found this from reading reviews and we weren’t disappointed—- very well organised staff, not the smartest of buildings ( but our server said they are moving to larger premises soon ) but the friendly helpful staff are great! I loved their eggs Benedict- so much so we went back a couple of days later!! Hubby enjoyed an omelette first time then second visit he had their French toast which came with fresh grapes & pineapple and was absolutely delicious! Refill of the tasty coffee is a nice touch. Mind you, we paid aprox $70.00 for this heartburn and two drinks that tasted like over rated and highly sweetened suga water with a Lil color.
