Service was horrible , & the sushi they have was old & stale my friend broke out in hives from the sushi & she not even allergic to shellfish or anything…definitely should shut this place down because when they were given a call they were rude & hung up mid convo they deserve 0 stars !
The food was amazing, very customer service friendly and I'll def return again

My first visit here. I came alone. The food I ordered was amazing. They were fast, the food was fresh. The ambiance was nice. 10/10. I recommend
So I'm very hesitant trying out new restaurants. Especially sushi places, because either your really good or horrible.
Anyway after spending most of my day at the French Quarter. I was extremely disappointed about wasting my time there and eating. But eating at Asakusa made up for the horrible experience from the French Quarter.
I'v tried the Green Dragon Roll, Vodo Roll and my new favorite House Special Roll.
You'll need to try this. I am one picky mf when it comes to food. I might be back tomorrow if I'm still in town.
I get the exact same thing every time I go here. I chose the filet from the dinner selection. It comes with soup salad pasta and rice. The steak is cooked perfectly each time I go.
Best sushi in the parish! The staff are super nice and they have a wide variety of sushi. Will definitely come back again!
Sushi was really good
I went here and spent over 20$ on one kids meal. Paid 8$ for these crab rangoons and they was literally all breading no crab. Stick with umi this is ridiculous.

Best sushi place and the staff is always friendly
$26 for fake wasabi (probably 95% horseradish) and near flavorless salmon sashimi and soy sauce. Total ripoff

Bonzai, Umi, and Asakusa are the Big Three when it comes to sushi in the Parish, and Asakusa comes out on top. It’s not on the level of Tsunami out in the city, but it’s a diamond in the rough when it comes to St. Bernard. The facility leaves a bit to be desired, but the friendly staff and good rolls make up for it. As someone who loves raw fish on my rolls, this is the only place near home that I trust to not kill my stomach!

I like their sushi, it’s small and flavorful, we ordered a specialty roll, I will definitely come back again! I’m extremely picky with sushi!
