I can't even begin to describe how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! My daughter & I have made it our go-to spot. We're usually there twice a week at least. The bahn mi sandwiches are SO GOOD! The owner is the sweetest & kindest man I've ever met. All of the employees are very friendly & very efficient at their jobs. I just can't say enough good things about this establishment & the people who make you feel so welcome.

Yum, yum, yummy! Don't leave New Orleans without going there. Yes, there are long lines and few available tables, but they get through orders and people quickly!

Located in an unassuming plaza with many potholes, this small Vietnamese American restaurant was really incredible! We ordered the Pho Tai and vermicelli with egg rolls. The fun highlight was also being able to order finger sized beignets for dessert. Service was quick and polite. Credit cards are accepted. There are restrooms here. Plenty of seating though. We did go on a weekday. Not too much else to see in the rest of this plaza, but I would definitely come back just for the food. Definitely watch out when you're driving around at night, the asphalt and the parking lot is in very poor condition.

The strawberry smoothie was delicious very sweet though. The consistency was perfect as well. The beignets were very good I recommend ordering them when you're about to eat. The pho was very good broth was amazing, noodles and toppings were fresh. The meat was alright wish it was more tender. Service was amazing seated right away and brought waters instantly. Order was taken and within 5-10 minutes our food was ready. It is ran by a father and son I believe and they do a great job. Very calm ambience.

I love this place!! Chalmette has a lot of hidden gems as far as restaurants and this is one of them. It’s my favorite spot for Vietnamese cuisine in the greater New Orleans area. I always get their Vietnamese egg rolls, Vietnamese iced coffee (or Boba tea) and either char-grilled pork vermicelli or rare beef (rare eye round) pho (their broth is top notch!). Sometimes I even get a char-grilled pork banh mi to go to eat for later. The vegetables are always super fresh and well portioned to their meals. The meal size is large enough to fill up on and still have leftovers. The food comes out quickly and the staff is always so friendly. They offer tofu options and other menu items for any vegetarians or vegans out there. I didn’t ask if they had vegetarian/vegan broth for their pho. Locals or visitors: Be sure to add it to your list!Vegetarian options: They offer tofu. I would call in advance to make sure the broth for pho is vegetarian or if the French bread is vegan.Kid-friendliness: The owner was super kind and joked with my son. He asked if he liked hamburger, which confused me until he returned with a miniature gummy hamburger. It was cute and thoughtful.
Pho was excellent. I enjoyed it. The flavor was good.
