“Classic home cooking in the parish...but this place is hard to beat!! I ordered the Friday special--shrimp pasta with 2 big catfish filets, corn and garlic bread. That meal was fire!!! And plenty enough to share! The wife had a cup of gumbo(it was more like a bowl!) that was FULL of chicken and sausage!! The employees were super friendly and the prices were very fair. Don't sleep on this place.“

“Ordered 30 wings here for my graduation party. Ordered two days in advance and initially on the phone, was told that I could just come in and order it and wait for it but I told them that I have many things to pick up under a time crunch so placing it ahead of time would be much more convenient for me. Went in there and paid for my food and waited about 5 minutes which wasn’t bad at all. The guests at my party said that the wings were great. Customer service is ok“

“We were in there earlier today and my 3 year old started choking and your cashier Danielle P didn’t hesitate to jump in and help me. She picked my daughter and hit her on the back several times which, luckily, was all it took to clear her airway. “The service was great, the employees were kind and helpful. The brisket was really delicious, also the cole slaw and potato salad. Its a new fav place in da parish.Our server was Adriana and she was awesome.

Vegetarian options: Cole slaw and potato salad were good. Fries were okay but nothing special. I hope they get their brocoli salad and caesar salad in the future.
