The beignets were great very airy, not too sweet make sure to eat them fresh. The omelette was create your own but good ingredients overall. The French toast had a very prominent vanilla flavor and was very sweet but very good. The burrito chimichanga style was amazing. The burrito was very greasy should come with some salsa on the side too to cut through that. The side of hash browns was the real star in all honesty so airy and crispy the best I've ever had.The service was quick and constant attention. The tables are weirdly close together which is interesting.

My recent experience at this restaurant was disappointing. Despite arriving at 11:15, we weren't asked for our order until 11:40, and as of 12:34, we still haven't received it. The female server, Monica, avoided accountability and even suggested leaving if we weren't satisfied. She also discouraged our male server from apologizing. Monica definitely should NOT work in the hospitality business. According to the server, our initial order ticket was lost. Although the place was initially busy, the now-empty tables suggest a rapid turnover. Basically, if you're not a regular, you can forget it! I won't be returning, and I advise others to reconsider as well.

Decided to have a late breakfast. I was pleasently surprised. Pancake stack was filling, tasted good but slightly overcooked. Everything else was perfect and I will go back.

This was our first time here. Staff was very friendly and engaging. It was very loud inside due because of other customers talking. The isn't allot of seating. Me and my 9yr old God daughter shared the chicken fried chicken breakfast. The gravy was flavorful and the eggs were scrambled just right. But our breakfast potatoes (not the typical hash browns) were cold and the chicken was tough & overcooked and the breading came right off. Even with the minor issues with our food, I think we'll put the Parish diner in our list of go-to restaurants.Parking: Limited parking on the side street by the restaurant. Street parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking in the front off Paris Rd.

This was probably the most "meh" place I've ever visited in my existence. Service was not rude, but was not friendly. Food was not bad, it was not great. It was just meh. It also could definitely use a tad more flavor. My final verdict: meh.

The shrimp and grits with Tasso sauce .. Aw man ! .. and you don't have to peel the shrimp in the grits (hate that) also the breakfast quesadillas are absolutely worth trying and worth braggin about .. The chicken fried chicken is heavy and a lot. You'll feel sloppy if you finish it. The Migas will have the same affect ..

The two star review is mostly based on value. Still needs to be mentioned that service was at a minimum, felt like only regulars got good service. All I ordered was eggs and toast. Toast was toast, and eggs were edible, but like typical low-end diners, the eggs were dry and rubbery. The worst part, which kept this from being a three star (I expect diner food to be diner food), was the fact that for $2.50 worth of food on my plate I was charged over $12. Same order with even more food (hash browns) at Waffle House (equal quality) is $5 cheaper. At least the food came out quick.
