Stopped by Tag’s to get some veal cutlets. I wound up getting some freshly made hot sausage and ground eat, too. This is my go-to place for the veal I use to make Paneed Meat/Breaded Veal Cutlets. I LOVE it that they will run it through their meat tenderizer. The staff is always so friendly and the meats so fresh! It’s been a minute since we have eaten in the deli, but their Deli Specials/Butcher Boys are what my husband calls ‘Heaven in a white paper bag’! Definitely recommend Tag’s.

Tags as an old neighborhood meat store that now also makes sandwiches for lunch crowd. I stopped by when visiting chalmette to get my fix of liver cheese and Chesisi ham cold cuts.

I only buy my Italian sausage at this meat market. It is the best I've ever tasted. And everybody there is a pleasure. But I did get some hog head cheese there this time and it was so salty I could not eat it. Very unusual

Went to Tags Meat Market to pick uphoghead & Ham to bring back to Tennessee.They do not carry these things up here. Every time I come down I have to go back to Tennessee to bring food from home. Keep up the excellent service .
