I've been here many times. My husband has never been so I wanted him to try it. We had shrimp and grits for an appetizer. We were even given a complimentary amuse-bouche. My husband had a ribeye and I had the filet. Everything was delicious as always. Bread and butter selection was tasty. Service is top notch. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Didn't have dessert this time but I definitely recommend trying one out. Overall it is a great experience and highly recommend them. Make sure to reserve a table and dress appropriately!

Mr. Lester’s has some of the best food I’ve ever had but it’s the service that stole the show. Everyone that we encountered was simply amazing! From the hostess to wonderful ladies that waited on us (Cristen & Haley) they made sure that our experience was one of a kind. They anticipated our needs before we asked, they answered any questions we had, hands down the best staff out there. Now the food, let’s just say you won’t be disappointed. There was nothing that we tasted that we didn’t love. Safe to say we’ll be making a special trip to go back soon.

Mr. Lester’s Steakhouse is the ultimate special occasion destination. The atmosphere is stunning, the service is impeccable, and the food is exceptional. Every dish, from appetizers to entrees, was beautifully presented and perfectly prepared. Highlights included the Pan-Seared Cajun Duck Crostini, Seafood Boudin Stuffed Shrimp, and Pepper Crusted Ribeye. The quality of ingredients and attention to detail rival top Michelin-starred restaurants. Whether you’re celebrating or just looking for an unforgettable meal, Mr. Lester’s delivers an extraordinary experience.

Food was delicious. Service was perfect, never had to wait or ask for anything. And the atmosphere is so intimate and moody! Perfect for a romantic dinner. We had the filet, the sea bass special, corn grits, creamed spinach, sweet potato casserole, bacon wrapped shrimp, scallop special, and a delicious almond tower cake with coffee to finish off the meal.

This was my 3rd time eating here, and probably my last. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. Since my husband is lactose intolerant the waitress offered to do two for him without the cheese or sauce and the other two for me with it. Mine were delicious, but his were too salty and he couldn’t eat them. I ordered an 8oz filet with the sweet potatoes. My steak was cooked as I asked, but barely warm. The sweet potatoes were delicious! My husband ordered an 8oz filet with 3 bacon wrapped shrimp and a potato with only bacon and green onions. His steak was barely warm, the potato was not even cut in half and was cold, the shrimp had a horrible test. He complained to the waitress about the shrimp and it was taken off of our bill. The food was not worth the money at all!! Very disappointing!! The staff were very nice.

We were a party of four with reservations for dinner. We were greeted warmly and promptly seated. The staff was fantastic, courteous and accommodating. My wife had the Root Beer Pork chop and asked for the sauce on the side, which she received. That said the chop had a glaze on it that my wife found objectionable and could not eat it.

My sister enjoyed he mushrooms immensely as my brother-in-law enjoyed his steak. The asparagus was very good as well. I had the veal chop, and it was cooked perfectly, however it was smothered in one of the saltiest gravies and it was hard to scrape off. It did not indicate on the menu that there was a gravy and when the plate was presented it looked wonderful...............and then the first bite had me reaching for the sparkling water. Without the sauce the chop was perfect, but it was close to being ruined. Nice place but you will need to be specific about your order.

After years of dining at Mr. Lester's, my husband, one of our employees, and I were surprised to be turned away because of our outfits. A romper and a 2-piece set didn’t meet their new dress code, even though I’ve worn similar styles here before without any issues. As the owner of a clothing store for 14 years, I’m confident these outfits are well within what’s currently in style and should have been acceptable.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was very disappointing, especially since I wore a similar style at a five-star steakhouse in Biloxi last weekend without any problems. Considering how many people have mentioned they don’t go to Mr. Lester’s anymore, it’s not surprising to see the restaurant isn’t as packed as it used to be. It’s unfortunate that long-time customers are being turned away over outfits that have always been acceptable in the past. Thanks for the memories, Mr. Lester’s, but we’ll be taking our business elsewhere.

The Caesar salad, seafood stuffed mushrooms, Bone in ribeye, corn grits and the broccoli were amazing. I will definitely be going back. In my opinion, they have beaten Ruth’s Chris ribeye. They also have a fine selection of cigars. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with what the sweet potatoes and prowling sauce. I had a little higher expectation. Still a five star experience.

The best steak in Louisiana. You are doing yourself a disservice if you haven’t been here. The service is astounding and is only outdone by the food.
