“Delicious plate, a large fried fish filet, 4 fried shrimp and 2 mini crab cakes with green salad, roll and cookie. Everything was yummy and for $11.00 it was a great value. I wish it was dine in, but I know the struggle to get waitstaff makes for it's own set of problems. Give them try you will be happy you did.”

I was able to get my wife to eat a steak which she doesn't eat often but she obliterated a baby filet and was about to order another one! Cigar lounge was top notch. I mean the night was perfect. “Stopped in about a month or so ago.. I was passing through this area and had saw a little video with Ricky and Hollywood in it . I stopped in for the French bread and ginger cakes are outstanding. So good.. I love the feeling of this lil bakery in the south.. makes you feel at home and time slows down when u there. It's worth the trip and the nostalgia is awesome... beautiful lil town of jeanerette...”

“Everything was absolutely excellent. I cannot say enough about the, food and atmosphere. All was excellent. The only drawback was that at some point the building lost water pressure and they were unable to make more coffee. I assume it does not happen often, otherwise they would have extra water available.Dietary restrictions: I have several food allergies and they were very understanding. The employees tried very hard to find something that I could eat. Being allergic to gluten, wheat, eggs & dairy makes it difficult to find something edible in a coffee shop. Eventually, I was able to eat the ham and just a plain lettuce & tomato salad with grilled chicken and have coffee w/almond milk.”

“This place is awesome !!! I was born and raised in the area but now live out of state. When I come visit I always have to make a stop for the best bacon burger ever. It's under new ownership but food is still excellent. The restaurant was very clean and servers were very friendly and accommodating because my wife is gluten free. If I could make one suggestion it would be to have gluten free buns for the burgers, but if you want a great HOMEMADE hamburger go to Chicks!”

“This place came highly recommended by a friend, Joey Blanchard. It’s a quaint family owned and operated restaurant that serves local comfort food quickly and with friendly and attentive service! There were so many food options available and the lunchtime clientele was comprised of local residents. Everyone knew everyone else there and it was packed! The food was fantastic, served quickly, unpretentious, and made with love! Everything we ordered was amazing! I ordered the lunch special of a 1/2 shrimp po’boy sandwich and the chicken and sausage gumbo. We also I had the gator bite appetizer, which was incredible! This little gem is one of the many best kept local secrets in the area! You just have to visit here! You won’t be disappointed!”

“When we are in town for a visit, Danny's is our definite go-to stop to eat before we leave town. Danny's fried chicken is the local favorite as well. If the church bus is full of choir members from out of town, says it's finger licking good well whose word will you believe. The French fries are nice, hot, and just right..soft in the center and crispy on the outer. All I can say is Popeyes don't have nothing on the red beans and rice and dirty rice. It is as your mother or grandmother was back in the kitchen cooking the food and brought you a plate to enjoy. If you are ever in the area, you have to stop by and try Danny's. You will not be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: The dine in area is spacious for the family.Parking: The parking here is limited, first come, first serve. But there is a drive-thru where you can order and take it with you.”

“Went there 8/7/22 and ordered 3 -16 piece family meals and 2- 12 piece tender meals at 11:30 The manager took control and started counting the chicken and got more chicken cooking. Her and her team all contributed to have this order ready very quick andade sure nothing was missing. Very professional.”
