“My coworker and I went in around 1:00 pm. No one was there as we walked in. The cashier was watching television. It was our first time eating since we live out this area the cashier was not very friendly. She appeared to be aggravated because I was taking a minute to look over the menu. I asked her what’s the difference between the ribeye po boy and Jake’s ribeye po boy and she told me the “it’s the same thing”. I should have left because it made me wonder why she was being so rude to the point we checked our food to see if something looked off. It was good food and many ppl kept telling us to try it I just don’t appreciate the cashiers attitude for whatever reason. I also saw they said portions are smaller. The ribeye did have a huge chunk of fat on one side but I felt it was a good deal and I got the 1/2 fried alligator which was good and decent as well.”

“First timers!!! We had a party of 6. We pretty much order everything on the menu, and let me say this EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! The price was reasonable the atmosphere was perfect. The service was outstanding! We highly recommend to any and everyone!!!!”

“We were traveling to Denham Springs, took a wrong turn, and somehow ended up in Bunkie — and I’m so glad we did! We stopped in at Poppa J’s and they have the yummiest donuts and the cutest little quarter rides for the kiddos. Definitely worth the detour. We’ll be stopping here again!”

“If you're looking for friendly service, this is the place. The staff made us feel right at home. The wings were definitely the highlight--so good! The seafood pizza was also good option, just wish it had a bit more punch/seasoning. Overall, a very enjoyable visit.”

The option we ate fried chicken breast, corn, and loaded bake potatoe, it was a great choice as well.

“I had the pleasure of having a conversation with the manager and a worker named Marcus. I’m sorry I can’t remember the managers name. I told her how Subway in Marksville is absolutely the only fast food place I’ll eat at. I had noticed a slight dip in the standards met as compared to the normal high standards I have. You see I refuse to eat somewhere where the surfaces are filthy, the service people are not neatly dressed, hair tucked away and above all the hands. I swear if I catch a glimpse of a worker with dirty unkept nails I lose my top. There’s absolutely no excuse for filth on any service personnel and any floors or work surfaces. As you can tell I expect a lot and today I am very happy to say that all of my expectations were met. From a greet as I walked in to my thank you and have a nice day as I walked out and everything in between—— not one disappointment or dissatisfied moment. You have a great manager and a good staff person in Marcel. They did Subway proud today. I hope you recognize them. They deserve it.”
