Interesting behind the scenes glimpse.
Make great sodas (Creme, Root beer and King Cake).
The best brewery tour my wife and I have been on! Evan was very knowledgeable and personable. We had a great time, and enjoyed our time at the bar after! Thank you Evan!
Extensive selection of beers and merchandise. Some of the beers are known and distributed, but many would be new to even those familiar with Abita. We visited on a weekday right after opening, however staff was still getting ready for the day, so service was a little slow. Also the water coming from the water station was really warm, and they had no bottled water. They do offer root beer, creme soda, and hop water. This location does not serve food, but they do welcome children and teenagers.
This place was fantastic! We did a tour with Ari (sorry if misspelled!) and she was very knowledgeable regarding each aspect of the tour.
The taproom on premises was far cooler than we anticipated going in, and there were multiple taproom-exclusive flavors available to try.
My husband and I made a stop here on our way to NOLA a week ago and did the tour. It was super laid back - only 6 of us on the tour. The $10 tour comes with a drink token for a pint of your choice beer - or you can upgrade to a flight of 6 flavors for a few extra dollars (maybe $5?).
My husband is the beer drinker in our relationship - I’m not a big fan, so imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw MARGARITAS in the slushy machine! They had regular, and strawberry! I upgraded my tour drink token to a margarita for $8 (I think that amount is correct?) and it was super yummy!!! They make it with rum that they have made just for Abita!
Day. Made.
The taproom is really nice - lots of flavors of beer to choose from, plenty of tables, board games, etc. It would definitely be a cool place to hang out if you lived nearby! My hubby bought a shirt and some other gear and we had to head on south, but it was definitely worth the stop - especially if you’re a fan of Abita, and especially if you like a good, frozen margarita! ❤️🍹
This is a spacious bar and gift shop. They also have tours available. There are plenty of beer options. The Abita ale is an awesome beer. Great hats and shirts are for sale.
Pleaseeeeeee make the juicy fruit IPA again :) years later & we still think it’s the best beer we’ve ever had!
Great place to work
Used as harvest host for 1 night. Parking lot is solid gravel and level- no problems with setting up or departure.
Brewery has some really good beer and food truck items. Well worth the stay!!!
This is an awesome brewery! The staff were so kind and accommodating and the beer was fantastic. Would definitely go again.

Good selection of hard to find releases available for purchase. Try a sip of the banana foster stout or the blueberry wheat.
Stopped by Abita Brewing Company to grab some gear and have a couple pints. It had probably been 10 years since I last visited, and it was just as cool as I remembered—maybe even better.
I picked up two t-shirts, some metal wall signs, and a few Abita stickers for my trailer. The gift shop is huge—lots of space, great selection, and definitely worth checking out if you're into the brand. I also had a couple pints of beer at the taproom, which was super mellow during my visit. Not many people there, so it was relaxed and easy to enjoy. The bar area has TVs for catching a game, and the whole vibe is laid-back.
They have a weekly event calendar with everything from comedy nights to cookie decorating for kids—so it's family-friendly but still great for adults. The taproom is large, with plenty of seating, and if you're into brewery tours, they offer that too so you can see how everything’s made.
Outside near the parking lot, they have a huge fenced grassy area with picnic tables, umbrellas, and an outdoor keg bar. It looks perfect for events, company picnics, or barbecues. I had my dog with me, and since it was fenced in, I was able to toss a ball for her while we enjoyed the fresh air.
The parking lot is massive—room for probably 100 cars—and they also host Harvest Hosts, so RVers can stay overnight for free. That’s an awesome bonus for travelers passing through.
Staff was friendly, helpful, and easy to chat with. Great beer, great merch, great place to spend an afternoon.
Side note: I’ve submitted nearly 600 reviews, and my photos and videos have over 17 million views on Google Maps. If this helped, give me a follow—it’s always appreciated!
Ari was amazing she did our tour she was very knowledgeable! Showed us everything from top to bottom about the brewing process and had very good recommendations for beers she will be the number one reason we come back here every time we’re over this way !
Stopped in for a beer with lunch we grabbed from DiMartino’s. The first person who helped us (Ari) was phenomenal - so helpful, so sweet, very knowledgeable. Beer was great, atmosphere was pretty low key (but it was midday on a Thursday). We didn’t do a tour- just grabbed a pint
had the amber in Columbia Missouri on draft it's truly outstanding
