The beer, apparel selection and staff are awesome. Highly recommend!
Get the guided tour. $10 a person as of February 26. It was totally worth it and it includes a token for a free pint. Tour guide was very detailed and informed and answered many of our questions. It was a fascinating process. We came just before noon and were able to get into the first tour of the day without much of a wait. This was on a Friday.
People in the bar and gift shop were very friendly. Take a picture of the stack of kegs near the parking lot!
For deliveries not touring.. Great employees but not enough signage to direct where to offload.
Wife and I really enjoyed our visit to Abita. Cool vibe and awesome bartender that really knew his beer! I had a flight which is 6 different beers! All I thought were top shelf.
Evan was such a great tour guide! He made our time at the brewhouse fun and informative. It was nice to be able to sit at the bar afterwards and get a nice taste of a variety of their brews. There was a bartender with blonde hair and fun Mardi Gras nails who nailed it with her special mixes, I just didn’t catch her name! Thanks all for the hospitality and letting us learn about this gem in southern Louisiana
Found this in Kentucky this week. Delicious. Glad to know some folks still make pure beer. Give it shot you won’t be disappointed. Keep it coming fresh ABITA!!!
Great service and beer
We went for the Christmas keg lighting .had a wonderful time!
We went during the holidays and we loved it the people that work thier were so friendly and we got a private tour of the brewery too which was not only informative but alps fun to taste all the beers too 10/10

The best brewery tour my wife and I have been on! Evan was very knowledgeable and personable. We had a great time, and enjoyed our time at the bar after! Thank you Evan!
Extensive selection of beers and merchandise. Some of the beers are known and distributed, but many would be new to even those familiar with Abita. We visited on a weekday right after opening, however staff was still getting ready for the day, so service was a little slow. Also the water coming from the water station was really warm, and they had no bottled water. They do offer root beer, creme soda, and hop water. This location does not serve food, but they do welcome children and teenagers.
This place was fantastic! We did a tour with Ari (sorry if misspelled!) and she was very knowledgeable regarding each aspect of the tour.
The taproom on premises was far cooler than we anticipated going in, and there were multiple taproom-exclusive flavors available to try.
My husband and I made a stop here on our way to NOLA a week ago and did the tour. It was super laid back - only 6 of us on the tour. The $10 tour comes with a drink token for a pint of your choice beer - or you can upgrade to a flight of 6 flavors for a few extra dollars (maybe $5?).
My husband is the beer drinker in our relationship - I’m not a big fan, so imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw MARGARITAS in the slushy machine! They had regular, and strawberry! I upgraded my tour drink token to a margarita for $8 (I think that amount is correct?) and it was super yummy!!! They make it with rum that they have made just for Abita!
Day. Made.
The taproom is really nice - lots of flavors of beer to choose from, plenty of tables, board games, etc. It would definitely be a cool place to hang out if you lived nearby! My hubby bought a shirt and some other gear and we had to head on south, but it was definitely worth the stop - especially if you’re a fan of Abita, and especially if you like a good, frozen margarita! ❤️🍹
This is a spacious bar and gift shop. They also have tours available. There are plenty of beer options. The Abita ale is an awesome beer. Great hats and shirts are for sale.
