“We have dined at Don's in Covington multiple times. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the servers are exceptional. During our recent visit, we were served by Emily. She was very professional, intelligent, and focused. She was patient and pleasant to converse with. We were impressed with her knowledge of the restaurant and the menu. We truly enjoyed our dinner, and Emily provided excellent service.”

“My daughter has wanted me to come for a while now and today was my first ever visit. I love that there were “secret cookies” my daughter didn’t know existed! So I got to surprise her and that was nice. I will say these cookies seemed underdone to me at first but it could just be that they’re meant to be soft. We bought a big pack and the young lady up front this morning was able to tell me every detail of what I was looking at when picking the cookies. She also had excellent customer service! It was just so nice overall and I will be coming back!”

“Just wanted to drop by and say that we had an amazing experience at Turgeau's this morning. Our youngest son is newly diagnosed with celiac disease and just starting to feel better. Going out for a meal causes some nervousness but he REALLY wanted pancakes (I just miss having pancakes 😔). Not only were the staff well educated on cross contamination precautions, they were also very helpful with making sure his selections were safe. Plus, they have a catering menu for Christmas dinner. We will be back!”

“Lovely restaurant! Our server, Lauren was the best-so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She made terrific recommendations. The food was amazing- we had: wild mushroom/tahini/fried chicken hummus sampler and the falafel platter for appetizers, delicious fresh baked pita, mezze bowls, lamb burger and kofta plate. Everything was delicious and well- spiced with very satisfying portions on everything. We will be back!”

“We have been about 6 times with friends and everyone loved everything we tried. The food is fresh with multiple layers of flavor. The negative ratings are about service or wait times. (Which we have not had a problem with) But the food is what matters! I recommend the poblano rice and plantains as sides. Nachos as an appetizer or entree because it is not a hunk of cheese melted on old repeatedly fried chips we find everywhere else. The guacamole is the best I have ever had. But, as a dessert gal, I have tried them all and there is not one I would not get againm(hint: the chocolate cake with flan on top is my favorite)”

“Get the guided tour. $10 a person as of February 26. It was totally worth it and it includes a token for a free pint. Tour guide was very detailed and informed and answered many of our questions. It was a fascinating process. We came just before noon and were able to get into the first tour of the day without much of a wait. This was on a Friday.

People in the bar and gift shop were very friendly. Take a picture of the stack of kegs near the parking lot!”

Maddie was very attentive when she took care of my family this evening. we were a party of 5 with 2 kids and we ordered a wide variety of food. nothing was out of place or less than amazing. my dad is from NYC as am I so we know a great steak and Gallagher's Grill is the top in the area.”

Soo SAD common sense can't be taught and no one takes pride in their job anymore”

Our server, Brooklyn (I believe was her name & if I’m wrong I’m so sorry, I was frazzled) was incredibly patient & friendly from the very start. Our 6 year old son is autistic & was NOT a fan of GW. He was on the verge of a spiral & the only thing he could verbalize was that he wanted pizza. Brooklyn & her manager came to our table, we came up with a game plan and they makeshift created a “pizza” on the spot for my little dude with no hesitation. Y’all truly don’t know how grateful I am to the staff of this restaurant today for helping make this mamas day just a little easier. They accommodated us with a smile, when they easily could have said, sorry we don’t have pizza. Brooklyn & her manager provided absolutely stellar service!! Make sure you ask for her section & tip her big, cause miss Brooklyn deserves a RAISE!!!”

“Visited today for the first time. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Greg at the front door offering High 5's, and were promptly walked through the process of how to order and what to expect. Appetizers came out quickly, (which the fried pickles were perfect), and the entrees came out quickly after that and were also incredible. Customer service was phenomenal all around. From the beginning to the end, staff were attentive and engaging. Greg even showed us the wall of hot sauce that is available for customer use. After our meals we opted to purchase some of their sweet goodies that were near the register, which turns out are crafted by someone who works there and were out of this world! Overall, the experience was one of the absolute best we have had at a restaurant. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.”

“Went here this past Tuesday and man was I impressed!! From the second I walked in the radiant energy hit me in the face. The good music, great smell, and color all over the place was a nice surprise. The lady who took my order was very patient and offered good suggestions. After ordering the food came out extremely quickly and they gave us a wide array of sauces to choose from for free! Me and my girlfriend got the street tacos since they’re $2 on Tuesdays. We got the chicken tacos, steak tacos, and a side of chips and queso (highly recommend). Food came out within 10 minutes and all of the staff talked to us and were super friendly just naturally. There was also another guy who was the manager there and I just want to let you know you’re killing it, keep up the good work. Great food, great service, will be back again!”

“I usually hate traveling down 190 because of all the traffic but this store is so great for their promptness and ability to crank out an order quickly it’s worth it. Never once had an item come up missing or the food take any longer than the tracker says. It also helps that Domino’s upped their game food-wise and it’s the better of all the huge national chains now by a mile.”
