I truly enjoyed our trip. I would give it a 5 out of five stars and you know what you got to other places in lancome that charge $300 for service. I won't mention their names but this is a place you need to visit”

“Thank you for an enchanted evening of celebration! We had a last minute change in venue for a rehearsal dinner for 80 people, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience at LaProvence. Michelle jumped right on it to get us a contract, and she and Ashley put together a fairy-tale evening with fantastic food and fun! Incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and flexible. What a switch from the prior venue! Highly recommend!”

“So, it’s a little hard to order, a certain lack of understanding, with the language barrier, and even harder to check your order when you’re trying to at pickup, and the cashier hands you your receipt in Chinese, and tells you to check for yourself. And yes, the order was wrong.”

“It's an hour from me, but I visited because I kept hearing about their fantastic selection of craft beers. Absolutely true. I had a great West Coast IPA, and those are hard to find in the South. The lake views were wonderful, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lively and warm. It's a big place, too, with lots of outdoor seating - two shaded patios, and beautiful landscaping to boot. Afterwards, I took a nice long walk along the Ponchartrain. I highly recommend!”

“Excellent experience! We’re a family of five with young kids, so eating out can sometimes feel chaotic, but Liz’s Where Y’at Diner made it an amazing experience from the moment we walked in. Liz, the owner, personally welcomed us at the door and helped create a kid-friendly setup that made everything so much easier for our family. I ordered the steak and eggs, and the steak melted in my mouth like butter. There was a small issue with my wife’s avocado salad, but Liz immediately stepped in and personally made it right. That level of care and attention is rare these days. When it was time to leave, she made sure we were all happy and hugged all the kids goodbye! The owner and staff truly treat you like family. Outstanding food, outstanding service, and an outstanding atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Delicious, locally owned Honduran restaurant near the Mandeville/Abida cost. It’s very unassuming Nestled right on Highway 59. The food was absolutely delicious and arrived hot. I will definitely be back. We got the hibiscus juice, chicken tamale, pupusa, and the carnitas. I usually don’t like to order savory plantains because they are usually not to my liking, but these were amazing. They were prepared in a savory sense, but had some sweetness to them, which I loved.They also had some pastries and jarred items for purchase. Another customer ordered the Honduran fried chicken and it looked amazing. My only complaint if I had one is that I hope they address the floor in the bathroom because it looks like it could be a potential hazard.”

“Went with my parents for lunch today. We each had a fresh, crisp salad. My parents had catfish. It was fried to perfection and nicely seasoned but not too salty or spicy. I had the corn and shrimp bisque. It was thick, creamy, and delicious. This establishment serves delicious food for ridiculously affordable prices.”

“I'm glad there were signs leading in because I was still questioning if I was in the right spot, until I saw the roll up wearhouse doors open with big fans to help the patrons not get too warm. Staff were nice and helpful. Dogs are welcome! Even have water bowls for them. Bar inside and food truck parked right outside. Nice relaxed atmosphere!”
