“Cherrybomb is probably my most frequented local business. I go about twice a week to take a break from my work from home routine. The thing about Cherrybomb is that no matter what you get the coffee/espresso flavor comes through even in a latte or flavored drink. I also want the staff to know I appreciate that they are consistent and friendly. I can see the culture is great there and it’s always a pleasure to stop in!”

“I tried this place right after it opened and didn’t love it so unfortunately, I waited many years to try it again. Yesterday, I had a to-go order and I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. The shredded chicken empanadas were cooked to perfection. Even as to-go, it was perfectly fried. The shredded beef tamales… amazing. They are doubled in size compared to other tamales and so flavorful. The shredded beef taco, great!! The homemade tortillas didn’t hold up well with to-go orders but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. I truly was so impressed with everything I got. I will certainly be back, many times over! ❤️”

“My husband and I found this lovely spot while camping at nearby Fairview Riverside State Park. When we both retired recently we decided to celebrate our retirements with a return trip to the area, which necessitates a return trip to Abita Roasting Co. We LOVE this little hidden gem…from friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful setting, and EXCELLENT food, we cannot recommend it highly enough!”

“We had a party of 11 and Patrick was our waiter , He was awesome , very nice and professional our food was amazing, compliments to the chef ans sous chefs ans kitchen staff. The food was delicious. It was very very tasty my fish was perfect the steak was so tender. We throughly enjoyed it !!! We were in town for a family gathering , if we ever back in town again , we will be coming back. “Was craving a snow ball on my way home from work and it just hit 7 o clock and all of the snow ball stands were closed that I could find except one. It was a few minutes out my way but i was craving a snowball after the extremely hot day. So since they were open until 8 i gave them a shot. An boy was i glad i did. I’ve had snowballs from what seams like hundreds of different snowball stands. Ive had some of the best snowballs you can find. Being i was raised and lived in New Orleans until i was 24 so ive tried every snowball stand around. So ive seen some reviews saying LouLa’s were good but thats a disservice. When i got my large Chocolate with condensed milk it looked very good but i took that first bite and WOW is what i literally said to myself. Easily one of the best snowballs Ive ever had. The chocolate was perfect and they weren’t greedy with the syrup like some places. The condense milk was nice and thick. The snowball was just perfect. It was just what i was looking for. I just wish it was closer to where i live so i could go all the time. The location itself was great also. They have more then snowballs and if you want it to go or you want to sit outside and enjoy your snowball they have plenty of chairs and tables for you to sit and enjoy your snowball or whatever you order. They have plenty parking space as well. Bottom line. SnowBall A+ Location A+ Service A+ Quality A+ Time Open/Business Hours A+ Overall A+++. If you like snowballs and are in the area or you just want a 5 star snowball then LouLa’s is the place for you! Go see them and get yourself a chocolate snowball w/ condensed milk! You won’t regret it!”

“We enjoyed a beautiful view of the Tchfuncte River. Our lunch was served quickly with minimal wait. We ordered the bacon ham burger and the blackened fish sandwich with coleslaw. Both were exceptional. We found the parking to be a little confusing between the 2 different restuarants located here. We parked in the handicapped area designated for the Tchefuncte/Anchor Restuarants, but would have been closer parking in the shell lot along the waterfront. We also followed signs for the handicapped accessible ramp which then looped around to the front of The Anchor. This extra walking was difficult for my handicapped father who was using a walker. Service and food were wonderful. A little loud for the atmosphere.”

“We have dined at Don's in Covington multiple times. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the servers are exceptional. During our recent visit, we were served by Emily. She was very professional, intelligent, and focused. She was patient and pleasant to converse with. We were impressed with her knowledge of the restaurant and the menu. We truly enjoyed our dinner, and Emily provided excellent service.”

“Ten out of ten on every aspect, I walked in and was greeted by the nice girl in front so sweet. Then I noticed how cute it was with the games to play a small business card station and a BEAUTIFUL room with twinkle lights. Got the pupusa and they were delicious you can tell how fresh the cabbage slaw is and the salsa was amazing ! Will be back !”
