This is our favorite chill spot. The food is amazing as is the coffee. Think Grandma's house with a hot sandwich by the fireplace on the river. Great scenery and the courtyard and porch give it real charm. It's also a venue for weddings and such.

I've been to this little restaurant three times now, and each visit has been a delight. The location is perfection! It's located on the Tchefuncte and you can pull-up in your boat if that's your preferred mode of transportation. I've arrived once by water and twice by land. Ample parking is available on the street and along the riverfront. I started my 2024 right with brunch at Abita! It was popular destination to kick off the new year but still room to sit down right away. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu, but the bangers are BANGERS. The shrimp and grits were phenomenal, 11/10 recommend. We did have to get up for a refill on the coffee but the service was great outside of that. I will be back!
