Chafunkta’s large warehouse was in the middle of a renovation, but the open air taproom was rowdy with live music, board games and tons of dogs. Scoring high marks on Google Maps (4.9) and better than average on Untappd (3.78), we can understand the appeal. The best brew on the flight was their 3XPBC Beer Inoculum; an 8.2% Imperial Stout. 3XPBC was brewed to celebrate their Nine Year Anniversary! This was a great place to stop for a break while biking Tammany Trace! You can't see it from the trail, but it's very close. Enjoyed the beers (particularly the meyer lemon one!) and relaxed set up. "Beer"-tender was great and really cool skateboard art throughout the place!

Im an out of towner, and they welcomed me & treated me with the utmost kindness. The beers are fantastic. They brew beers for every pallette, light to dark, low abv to barrel aged. If you're in the area, it's a must stop. Thanks again.
