Hands down a diamond in the rough amongst many a small genuine louisiana restaurants. portion was appropriate, just enough to leave my belly full and my wallet. FYI large parties have gratituity included, not mentioned on a sign or the receipt we received, although I'm sure it was a simple mistake, we had the sign here receipt but not the itemized one listing the automatic gratuity. Totally fine but my husband almost tipped twice on accident lol“

Scoring high marks on Google Maps (4.9) and better than average on Untappd (3.78), we can understand the appeal. The best brew on the flight was their 3XPBC Beer Inoculum; an 8.2% Imperial Stout. 3XPBC was brewed to celebrate their Nine Year Anniversary! It’s description states the imp stout is a “triple peanut butter cup beer” and oh did it scratch the peanut butter cup itch. Probably one of the best peanut butter cup stouts we’ve had - ever.“

“My mom and I had a lovely brunch at tandem. We split the avocado toast and the apple ricotta toast as well as an order of deviled eggs. We also had a limoncello spritz each. The proprietor delivered them to us herself and shared that the limoncello is made by her and is a labor of love. I LOVE limoncello and hers was delicious. Truly everything was delicious and we very much enjoyed the casual bright atmosphere. Perfect for a brunch or a stop in from a bike ride on the trace. Next time I may need to try the house-made pimento grilled cheese.“
