“Oh my, what a fun place to have some delicious food, a variety of drinks, a great Lakeshore view and you can bring your pup as a bonus! I’m talking about Barley Oak on Lakeshore Drive in Mandeville Louisiana. As my pictures and video below will show, you are front and center of the lakefront, and have a variety of choices in drink and dining selections and also where you’d like to sit! I had the redfish tacos, my friends had the shrimp tacos, and we all shared the sausage and cheese appetizer, which was absolutely amazing. You have got to get the gator sausage for sure. It being pet friendly, you can have your pup leashed inside or outside and the people water drinking station. there are water bowls for the pups as well. Where have you ever seen that! There’s also lively conversation, gathering of friends and family and don’t forget about a stroll across the street along the Lakeshore, a beautiful time all around. There is free parking conveniently streetside or Lakeside as well. The Barley Oak will not disappoint on any level.

“My son & i stopped in for lunch on Thurs. Nov.14 we really didn't know what we wanted for lunch? But, we said we hadn't eaten @ Chili's in a while, so we stopped in. And the sweet little lady Mrs. Christy was our waiter. She was amazing! And very sweet! We ordered gotten our food, and it was very delicious. My son ordered a burger, and fries added mac n cheese. I ordered four peice crispers with sweet and spicy tangy dipping sauce with fries in the place of the mac n cheese added broccoli. And I will say the mac n cheese was amazing too b/c I tried my son's . But, anyways, Mrs Christy deserved so much more for a tip that I could give that day :) so, I pray she gets a rays in the near future.
