“The vibe is always great. I used to come for trivia. The owners are super amazing and so are the staff. The prices are great and when I lived in Hammond this was a regular place that I would hang out and always felt safe even when I was alone. Being a single female at the time and being able to vibe with the other patrons and drink and feel safe enough to walk home alone at night, really speaks volumes about this place. I hope to visit one day again and say hi to Tina and everyone. This really is a Great place.“

“In Hammond for work and this place was recommend. It was definitely worth the little 14 minute trip from the hotel. The atmosphere is phenomenal and the people are very welcoming to everyone. You definitely get the southern charm and welcoming atmosphere. If you love Karaoke this place has the best system I have sang on by far from Baton Rouge- New Orleans and everything south of I-10. I can’t tell you how much you will enjoy yourself in this safe space where all walks of life come to unwind and listen and sing to some great tunes and bands.“

“I can only speak on my behalf on this. I know after a long hard week of work, I like to unwind and relax with my wife and son. Simply pull up to the drive through or even step inside and have a seat. They are always quick and super friendly. My favorite is the King Cake daiquiri. My wife's go to drink is their mudslide. Also, on Tuesday and Thursdays it's 2 for 1!! Yes, I said it, 2 for 1. What are you waiting for!! Safety tip also, do not put straw in your cup if driving until you reach your destination. Why? Found WISEGUYS Godfather was as close to the (Pre Political Correctness CHILD Abuse Drink) later called House Special. Was the GODFATHER, in taste and effects. “It was our 1st time here - I searched & checked reviews of a few places this am we’d like to do Brunch style but something a lil different so I chose Blackened Brew - event though there’s a few things we didn’t agree with we had an o tall good experience - 1st Layla our server was awesome sauce & very attentive - we were initially seated indoors we asked to go outdoors b/c the scenery is what drew me to them when I was checking the place out . The outdoor patio is simply amazing , relaxing & if you can’t tell by my pics & videos I LOVE turtles 🐢 - it was like they felt the vibrations & started swimming out way - love 💕 it . I ordered the Steak & Eggs (steak Med - Well & Eggs Over Medium) I’m not a big fan of cheese grits but I went ahead with the order & im glad I did - they were delicious - my husband ordered the pancakes 🥞 & photos attached as well - they were super thick & he likes his pancakes browned & cooked all the way through - it’s kind of hard when they are that thick & we understand that but he couldn’t eat them . Everything else was good - The 3 ⭐️ for the Food rating is due to the pancakes 🥞 & as the picture reflects there was still uncooked batter coming from the pancakes - it won’t discourage us from returning & hoping Layla will still be there . Sitting outside was amazing & they even offered & provided some turtle 🐢 feed which really made my husbands morning lol 😂 Kuddos to Layla for her prompt service & great personality - Happy Easter 🐰“

“We just recently did a rehearsal dinner for 35 people at Tope La catering. We used the large catering facility. The food was incredible. I can't say enough about the service. Carol worked with me helping with the menu, setup and all the details. She was on top of everything and made sure the event went smoothly. Corris, the catering manager did an excellent job. He took care of all the detail that night to ensure the food was served exactually as ordering and the flow of everything went smoothly. I would certainly recommend them to anyone that is needing somewhere to host an event.“

“I went into this restaurant earlier today, but I had a small dog in my car. I was able to get a sandwich from across the street and eat it inside this restaurant with my dog. Both ladies were incredibly kind and I’m very grateful for the cold beer with my meal. Good old fashioned customer service still exists. Thank y’all and see y’all again soon“

“This is such a cute restaurant in a cute area. We had 3 of the appetizers, fried pickles, onion strings and the fried Green Beans, which were all amazing. The sauces were delicious. I also had the cookie butter burger, which was really good. But it could use something else, because cookie butter tends to be on the drier side. So it needs something moist, but other than that, the burger was really good and the meat was delicious. The jalapeno vinaigrette for the salad is divine!!!

“I started going to the Prop Stop when boating with my family in the late 80s. I have moved to Yankee country, but still manage to visit every few yews. I made it back when I could finally go inside the bar and drink in 1996 and have been back five times since over the years. I am not sure if the original owners or management are the same, but the things that are great are still there. The Swamp Burger is amazing. I make a poor imitation to impress all my Illinois friends who can't even conceive of a bar you can only get to by boat. great fun, great people, awesome music.“
