My wife and I went during her birthday weekend in mid-October. It was a Saturday and we were practically the only ones there. The food was amazing, our waitress (Amber) made wonderful recommendations and the ambiance was so nice. The first hostess that sat us down, I did not care for much, a bit snooty, but the second one was much better and cheery! It genuinely baffles me that it has taken me this extended period to compose a critique for a gastronomic sanctuary that I find myself frequenting on a monthly basis. Chef was on point tonight with the classics, special Valentine menu looked great but didn’t get there in time to enjoy, they ran out of some of the fish that I wanted, but no worries I had my go to dish: Tornedos Bayou La Fourche and she had the the Shrimp and Artichoke stack, our usual order. Drinks were great too, Cupids Arrow was like drinking a chocolate covered strawberry and the wedding cake was “the bomb” according to her! Great place to have a date night!
