“The food is Awesome. The service staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. Our waiter from our St. Patrick's Day visit even came over to our table when we were there two weeks later to say, "hello!," and jokingly noted that I was not having an "Irish Car Bomb" as I did on St. Patrick's Day. Btw, the Crawfish Truffle Mac and Cheese on our first two visits and then the "Irish Nachos" on St. Patrick's Day helped make us regulars! Last weekend's food adventure was noshing on Fries with short rib gravy, it was so good as an appetizer, I ordered it for my Sunday brunch meal also, and had the leftovers for lunch two days later.LOVE this place, the staff, and food!“

“Went with my sister for brunch on Saturday, hands down the best brunch in Mandeville. Started with the praline bacon and spiked iced coffee, TO DIE FOR. Literally melted in your mouth.We were seated with Gina, the funniest and best server, IMHO. She suggested the seafood omelet scramble style with a grilled biscuit and let me tell you Gina did. Not. Disappoint. We also got a side of roast beef debris to go on the cheese grits. I’m drooling just writing this review. My sister got the pick two Benedict’s. Everything was delicious, came out quickly and soo reasonably priced for what you get. We left fat and happy. ?This is my second time coming here, and I’ll be back for a third and fourth and you get where I’m going with this……EAT HERE. And ask for Gina. ?“

“We love 527 and enjoy going to the restaurant for special events. Yesterday was my sister-in-law's birthday and we had a absolutely wonderful time. 527 is first-class all the way: service, food and atmosphere. Thanks 527 for giving us a truly fantastic restaurant.“

“*Edit Post* As it is only fair to edit my comment because I loved their wings so much i had to change my rating. If you like buffalo wings, they do have the best. Not small and sauce is very tasty. My wings tastes so good, I ended up eating undercooked chicken once. But they have since been very consistent. My previous review was obviously a bad day for them. My wife seafood salad was bland with small scoop of crab. I loved my flavor in my wings! If I don't get sick it is all good. My waiter was a little busy never checked on us and I had to go to bar for my ticket. See photo of how undercooked wings were. Not even a sorry.“

“This is our first time here and this is a tough one. I was expecting really good things, but I can only report on our one and only visit so far. I was considering between 3 and 4 stars and only gave it four stars based on the fact that this could be much better than it was.First thing you notice is the brightly painted insides and outsides. Judging strictly by the painting and artwork you would guess that this is a seaside restaurant.When we got there we had a 20 minute wait as expected. 11:00 a.m. on Sundays should be a busy time for any restaurant that is worth it for brunch. The waitress was totally nice and did a good job. I will note that I gave the service only three stars as it took 35 to 40 minutes to get our plate after we ordered. The waitress came out and explained that somebody in the kitchen had a reason to leave so I understand why this happened but it still happened. It's my opinion that service on Google Maps is everything not just your server.The menu has so many items on it that it was tough to choose. I made probably a bad choice to judge a place on as I chose the grilliades and grits.The grilliades were pretty good. The gravy had excellent flavor and the meat itself was nice size but not very tasty. The grits were well prepared and flavorful. In addition, I had the grilled biscuit which I had high expectations for but the grill part was barely even noticeable. The biscuit was fluffy and enjoyable. My wife had eggs Benedict on a biscuit and she enjoyed that thoroughly the poached egg and the hollandaise sauce were just right.We will return and I hope things will be better and I'll order something more typical to confirm the 4 start rating.“

“Had the shrimp tacos, and fried mushrooms. It was absolutely perfect, some of the best blackened shrimp and as I said the fried mushrooms were perfectly fried. I thought I spent alot on lunch but when food is really good you can overlook it. I plan on going back!“

Large menu and large clean facility also. We will be back again!Parking: During lunch it seems to be the spot to be so parking can be a little difficult esp if you have someone who needs to park close by due to limited mobility.“

“I've tried to go to this place several times. Once it was a walk-in and they were very busy and explained to us that they mostly work off of reservations. The next time I called to make a reservation but it was 2-Hour wait so we went somewhere else. So finally on the third time we went in the afternoon at 2:00 when the lunch rush is gone and hopefully we would be able to get a table. We did get a table. We got a table in the bar area where there wasn't any one else there at all. The service was great. The food was even better. We got a $23 Pizza and didn't finish it all. I brought it home and it was still really good several days later. The wings were really great, especially the price. And I got the Italian salad which exceeded all my expectations of what an Italian salad should be. It had artichokes olives, a really great dressing sun-dried tomatoes. It was superb. I enjoyed seeing the old pictures on the wall and the traditional Italian atmosphere.“

“Tried Liu's Wok after checking out the reviews, and it did not disappoint. It is competitively priced with other similar restaurants, but the food was a standout. I ordered eggrolls, which I usually don't because they aren't necessarily my favorite, but after biting into an eggroll from this place, it was simply the best, crunchy delicious eggroll I have ever eaten. Unexpectedly delicious, as was everything we ordered. Don't be fooled by the simple look of the exterior. This place has some seriously delicious food.“

“Delicious Vietnamese food. Lovely little hole in the wall joint that rivals some of the best places on the Westbank. Our go-to when someone is sick and needs chicken pho! But their bahn mi is equally as excellent.Parking: This is a busy strip mall with ample parking, but few spots close by when the stores are all open. Definitely worth walking!“

So flavorful. We could eat there every day but it is a bit pricey.Parking: Not much parking but you can park in the grass. It's not crowded during the day but it's a little more crowded in the evening. Most people request take out versus dine-in because it's a very small venue.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome but there are no toys, video games or anything for them to do but they will love the food.“

“I never leave restaurant reviews but this place deserves one. My husband and I went in for lunch today. We were craving Italian food. We aren't from Mandeville/Covington area. Fazzios pulled up in the restaurants near us search so we decided to give it a go. He got the Calamari. I got the Gumbo. I know gumbo at an Italian restaurant should be ok at the least. It was fantastic. Probably the best I have every had. The Calamari was breaded and fried to perfection. He got the chicken parm. I got the aiglo e olio with breaded chicken. Both of our food was so good we couldn't stop eating! If you like martinis try the blueberry lemon drop. So good! The staff was so nice. It almost felt like being home. We loved the small hole in the wall feel with elegance this place brought.“

“One of my favorite restaurants on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain. I've been coming here for 20+ years and it never disappoints. The restaurant, and the bathroom in particular, needs a renovation. The food today was good, not great. I had the soft shell crab special and my companion had the shrimp and eggplant special. I removed 1 star because of price point.A single pepperoni pizza with added Italian sausage shouldn't cost $20 but we are living with bidenomics these days so everyone is capitalizing on it. So we got 2 pizzas for $40. I don't really care if it's firebrick cooked, or not, that's kind of insane. I can go get 2 ribeye steaks and all you can eat rolls at Roadhouse for that. And the tea will be sweet.Except for the price, we really enjoyed the pizza. They were out of root beer and the sweet tea isn't very sweet.Service was great and they were nice and attentive.The atmosphere was good as well.“

That is not uncommon so I doubt it was anything to do with the taste.Nice big booth to keep kids from getting up and down from a chair. Kids were 4 and 5.“

I ordered the fiesta omelette to go, and it was awesome. What truly stood out was the dedication of the staff. Working on a holiday isn't easy, but they did so with smiles and efficiency. The only very minor issue I had was that the caesar dressing to my salad was missing from my order, but we’re all human and small mistakes happen so I wasn’t worried about it! There are three tables that I have only ever seen occupied when someone is waiting on their take out order.We haven't found a good Chinese restaurant down here yet but this one has been our new go to for a while because of the crab rangoon and chicken lo mein. Best we found so far.Orange chicken, chicken wings, pork, etc. tastes about the same as everywhere else.Service is quick and I have no complaints at this time. It's always hot and consistent when I pick it up.“

“We have been coming to Nuvolari's for many special occasions for a while now. Every time, the food and service are impeccable. Their staff is very personable and seems to genuinely care about the dining experience. It has an elevated but lighthearted atmosphere. The food is to die for and they regularly update the menu so there are always a few new things to try.“
