“Excellent experience! We’re a family of five with young kids, so eating out can sometimes feel chaotic, but Liz’s Where Y’at Diner made it an amazing experience from the moment we walked in. Liz, the owner, personally welcomed us at the door and helped create a kid-friendly setup that made everything so much easier for our family. I ordered the steak and eggs, and the steak melted in my mouth like butter. There was a small issue with my wife’s avocado salad, but Liz immediately stepped in and personally made it right. That level of care and attention is rare these days. When it was time to leave, she made sure we were all happy and hugged all the kids goodbye! The owner and staff truly treat you like family. Outstanding food, outstanding service, and an outstanding atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!“

“On our way back to Nola from a wedding in Mississippi and stumbled upon this place along our route and oh my god we were so grateful. My partner got the alpha combo and the beef was to die for, I got the chicken pineapple fried rice. The detail and the flavors were out of this world even the lil spicy sauce the table was perfection. The server was also as sweet as can be. Would recommend to anyone who lives in the area or just passing by. We’ll definitely be making the hour long drive up for some more. Thank you so much!“

“Liu’s Wok has amazing food. We always take out and find the dishes delicious. We have never been disappointed. The portions are quite large and can be shared or saved for your next meal.

While you could eat in; I’d recommend picking up your favorite dish and bringing it home or work. The atmosphere is quite casual.

Also, I love that they honor Sundays and are closed for worship.“

The owners are famous chefs from China. It’s not just Chinese food. It’s Chinese Cajun Creole Seafood and it’s ONE OF A KIND and AMAZING. The building is unique and gorgeous, the staff is extremely friendly.“

“Stopped in at Coscino’s Italian Grill for lunch today and had the 4” Italian Sub, Caesar Salad and a drink for around $12. Everything was delicious! The house baked bread was perfectly crisp on the outside and tasted great. I asked for a side of house made red sauce to add to the sandwich and it was perfect! Looks like they recently did some renovations to the dining room and restrooms, very clean and comfortable. Looking forward to trying other sandwiches for lunch and coming back for their kids-eat-free night as well as the open mic night!“

We do believe our order was either lost or never sent to the kitchen when tables around us that arrived after we did were getting their food. However, as soon as another waitress and another person working there (I don’t know if he was the owner or the manager) noticed what was happening they both went above and beyond to make it right. “The seafood selection at Mandina's made it easy to order a little more than planned. I had the fried shrimp platter with fries and coleslaw, while we shared a cup of seafood gumbo to start. The shrimp had a crisp coating without being overly greasy, and the gumbo had a rich, savory broth with plenty of seafood flavor. The coleslaw was fresh and added a nice contrast to the fried items. Portions were generous, and the meal had that comforting Louisiana feel I was hoping for.“
