This was my first visit to this restaurant, kinda weird, seeing as I grew up in the area. The service was satisfactory, considering there was a huge party of folks in the next room and it was obviously going to take time to serve them all and they were there first.The food came fresh and hot. The tacos were good, although they could have had a little more meat on them. The refried beans and Mexican rice were on point. The beer was ice cold and the waitress was very friendly.
Jace, Vincent, and Andrew, bring the restaurant out in such a positive way and are very attentive with customers. Everyone else as well does, definitely a top restaurant in the Mandeville

It's ok as far as Mexican food goes in Louisiana, but those who know New Mexican food can tell that this is not. The green chile sauce is not Hatch green, they don't serve sopapillas with or after the meal, and they use Spanish rice instead of papas.
