“I went to Mande’s with my family for lunch, and it was amazing! We walked in with 2 toddlers, and within a few minutes of sitting down our waitress brought out a little bag of toys!!! She then asked for the kid’s orders so she could get their food going. I’ve never been treated with such kindness and thoughtfulness when dining with kids. It made lunch really easy for us, and much quieter because the kiddos were happily coloring and playing. The adults really enjoyed the food (I got the shrimp and grits, omg amazing), and the kids ate their meals really well. Which is quite a compliment coming from a 2 and 3 year old. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Our waitress saw our 2 toddlers and brought out a bag of toys and colors. She took the kid’s order first so food would come out quickly. By FAR the most kid friendly place I’ve dined!“
“Stopped in here for a late lunch and wanted to try the place out. The sandwich was good except for the fact that the bread was overtoasted to the point that there was burnt spots. Would have gotten a five-star review had they had a little better quality contro,l and when I went it was late in the afternoon and there was no crowd so they can't say they were busy. The roast beef was good enough to make up for the burnt bread hopefully if I go back next time I won't get a burnt sandwich.“
“Absolutely amazing place our waiter Josiah gave my wife and I the best customer service we have ever had in a restaurant. Food and the atmosphere of the place was great. But in all honesty Josiah made our experience complete and helped us have a wonderful experience. I highly recommend coming here and if possible having him as your waiter. You will not regret going!“
“Best tacos I have ever eaten. Staff did an excellent job describing menu items. Staff polite and friendly. Casual dining. Order and pay at counter and then they bring it to your table. Music a tad louder than I personally like. Play area located next to dining for children which is perfect if you have small ones. I will definitely return!“
“Very pleasantly surprised! My husband and I had a doctor's appt in mandeville so we stopped for lunch. I had the Ferdie ( roast beef, grilled ham, and Swiss cheese) hubby had the surf n turf (roast beef and fried shrimp) they both were delicious! Very flavorful roast beef, it just needed a little more gravy, which I asked for and the young lady provided with no problem. The bread was perfect poboy bread, IYKYK! The onion rings were real homemade onion rings and were delicious. The spicy cheese fries were good as well l, they definitely don't skimp on the cheese! The service was excellent. The young lady at the counter is finery customer friendly. She greets you when you walk in the door and thanks you for your service when you leave. While eating in she comes to the table to check on how you are enjoying the food. We will definitely be back!“
“The one on Hwy 59 in Mandeville, Louisiana had the best Tots... I ever tasted. They must know how to run a fryer at that location. Go eat there anytime! Best Burgers also... In a competition, I thought I was eating better than 5 Guys ?. I like either. But Sonic is cool because you can pull up in your car and eat. And order some more food after you thought you had enough to eat... Right On! Sonic Drive In!! Right On... In Mandeville, LA on Hwy 59“
“Staff is very warm and friendly. We arrived 3 minutes before opening time and were greeted very kindly, taking our order immediately! Show me a place that would do that, today!! Food was delicious. The Betty burger was cooked perfectly, the BLT and Club sandwiches were on point. A great place for comfortable dining, with classic Louisiana charm and hospitality. You would do well to give The Triple Nickel Grill a try. Born and raised in New Orleans, I can vouch for the authentic food. - Stan Weber“
“Nestled in the heart of Mandeville, Nan's Cafe offers a culinary journey that transports you straight to a Sicilian kitchen. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the Spaghetti and Meatballs - a dish so authentically delightful, it's as if Nonna herself was in the kitchen. Each meatball is a tender, flavorful morsel, perfectly seasoned and cooked to juicy perfection. The spaghetti, coated in a rich, savory tomato sauce, provides the ideal backdrop for these succulent spheres of delight. But the journey doesn't end there. The side dish of Sweet Potato Fries is a revelation in itself. These crispy, golden strips of sweet potato are the perfect balance of sweet and savory, with a light seasoning that accentuates their natural flavor. Nan's Cafe, with its warm ambiance and friendly service, makes every meal feel like a special occasion. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a visit to Nan's is a must for anyone seeking a taste of true Sicilian fare with a twist of Cajun. The Spaghetti and Meatballs, paired with the Sweet Potato Fries, is a combination that will leave your palate euphoric. It's not just food; it's a tasty experience - one that you'll want to relive again and again.“
