On a nice weekend afternoon, the outdoor area is fabulous. This is a very unique and historic property. A wide variety on the menu. They have great fried seafood, oysters on the half shell and grilled. Good burger, hangar steak and pork chop. Fish almondine and more. It as upscale food as the other excellent pat Gallagher restaurants, but it's very good. Oh, try the onion rings!
Long wait time this visit , their hostess and seating requirements lack a professional view point for sure. Upper management / ownership have obviously overlooked how it should operate. WTS our food was delicious, had a major problem with our main dish reaching our table but once I opened my mouth the manager took control and made things happen johnny on the spot and professionally. We will be back soon. Thank you.

WOW! What a great place! It was packed, but you don't really care. They have some nice rocking chairs looking out over the lake to calm your nerves, if that doesn't work they also have 3 bars upstairs that you can "pick your poison" and chill. We got some drinks and hung out upstairs overlooking the beautiful lake and all the activities that were going on. I think our wait was over an hour, but it only seemed a short while as the view was spectacular and the conversation was great...read full review
