Atchafalaya is one of the top spots I recommend visitors coming to NOLA who want to try elevated Creole/Cajun food. Pork Chops were perfect medium and collard greens is a nice pairing. Shrimp and Grits are rich and flavor full with bits of of sausage throughout. For dessert, try the Pistachio Dark Chocolate Cheesecake- the pistachio flavor pairs wells with the dark chocolate . The Bread Pudding is light - does not have a heavy rum flavor or has the rich sauce some traditional local bread puddings have in New Orleans. This place is a great spot for brunch or dinner“
