“Extremely great service by our waiter (funny and described food with great detail). Atchafalaya is one of the top spots I recommend visitors coming to NOLA who want to try elevated Creole/Cajun food. Pork Chops were perfect medium and collard greens is a nice pairing. Shrimp and Grits are rich and flavor full with bits of of sausage throughout. For dessert, try the Pistachio Dark Chocolate Cheesecake- the pistachio flavor pairs wells with the dark chocolate . The Bread Pudding is light - does not have a heavy rum flavor or has the rich sauce some traditional local bread puddings have in New Orleans. This place is a great spot for brunch or dinner“

“If you're cruising through New Orleans and haven't popped into Erin Rose, you're missing a slice of heaven—specifically, a frosty, boozy slice! Erin Rose’s famous frozen Irish whiskey with a screwball is a game-changer. Imagine the smooth, rich taste of Irish whiskey, blended into a slushy that packs a punch but slides down oh-so-smoothly.
The bar itself is a quirky gem, with an atmosphere that feels like your coolest friend's living room, if your friend has an impeccable collection of random art and photos along with a knack for making everyone feel like a regular. It’s the kind of place where stories are swapped, friendships are forged, and every sip feels like a celebration.
So, if you’re in NOLA and fancy a drink that’s as fun and unforgettable as the city itself, Erin Rose is your spot. Cheers to slushy whiskey goodness and good times with your favorite people and bartenders!“

“Fantastic place with that old corner-bar feel. Friendly staff and a literal “wall o’beer”. We visited this place three times in the week we were in NOLA and loved the atmosphere every time we were there.“
“The newest and coolest Country themed bar in the FQ. Plenty of planning & expense went into this brand new bar. Authentic! Staff is very welcoming, drinks are generously poured, spotlessly clean and the huge balcony overlooking Bienville St. offers a FQ/N.O. skyline view unlike any other you'll find. If you dig country bar vibes, this is the place.“

“Have been a Chart Room patron for many years. It's pretty much a plain ol' bar with great juke box and veteran bartenders serving typically strong and inexpensive drinks. About half locals, half out-of-town visitors, most of the out-of-towners being frequent NOLA visitors. At one time I suspected that a few of the regular characters were sent over by Central Casting, but have been going there long enough to now know they're genuine. A recent ownership change, but based on my last visit, no discernible (to me) change.“

“If you're looking for a top shelf craft cocktail this is the spot on Bourbon Street! And if you're extra lucky the bartender named Andrew will be the one making it for you while also making your day. Super clean bar, awesome music and amazing customer service. Make sure you ask Andrew to make you an old fashioned and you can thank me later.“

“If you’re looking for the ultimate bar experience in New Orleans, look no further than The Drinkery. This place has everything you could want from a classic French Quarter bar—a vibrant atmosphere, incredible live music, and hands down, the best bartender in town: Jeffery!
The live band here is phenomenal. They’re masters of their craft, creating the perfect blend of soul, blues, and jazz that embodies the spirit of New Orleans. The musicians are clearly passionate about their performance, playing with energy that pulls you right onto the dance floor.
And then there’s Jeffery—the legend behind the bar.“

“Cozy ambience with a unique, delicious drink menu. They also offer their kitchen to local food businesses, and the Asian fusion one there when I went was phenomenal. Donavin makes a wonderful drink called “Thank You for Being a Friend” with Louisiana run, almond, passionfruit, and smoky amaro – must try! I was in town for the Home + Garden Show, and Barrel Proof was the perfect unwind!“

“Go to the Rusty Nail for exceptional bourbons, knowledgeable, friendly staff, great prices & excellent service... it's well worth would it takes to find it. Also they have a 25% off whiskey Wednesdays!!! Wife and I happened to get there b4 opening on Wednesday. One of the staff ladies took us around inside to show us what Bourbons they had available. Treated us very very kindly...!!! Went back later after a terrible experience at Barrel proof and we just sat there for about 2 hours and enjoyed ourselves. When we get back to New Orleans we'll be back!!“

“Pete Scherer was my great uncle. I remember when I was a little girl my great grandma (Pete's sister, Irene) and my nanny (Eileen) used to take me to the bar to see Uncle Pete every Saturday after dancing school. It really is great to see that the place he loved so much is still open. ❤“

“07/11/2024 - First time visiting Le Bon Temps Roule and I had a great time. Le Bon Temps
Roule is a bar and sandwich shop. Decent cocktails. Cool crowd. Pool tables. An outdoor space. It is also a music venue. There’s a stage, lighting, and sounds. I planned to see the Soul Rebels at Le Bon Temps Roule and they showed up with horns, percussions, and light vocals. Awesome band! Thank you!! Nearby street parking. Some areas require payment for parking.“

“An absolute gem of a bar - by far my favourite spot from our visit to New Orleans. David and Vincent were both absolute gentlemen - we received one of the friendliest welcomes we've ever been lucky enough to receive and spent the evening swapping stories and writing down recommendations. If you're looking for an authentic dive bar bursting with southern hospitality and festive charm, look no further.“

“We discovered this bar by chance while walking around the Quarter- Lucky us! Kevin was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were enjoying local IPAs on tap when another customer raved about their sangria. Kevin had just made a new batch in front of me so I couldn't resist. It was awesome- and you'll see many other reviewers saying the same thing. The bar is clean and in a great spot about a block from Bourbon St.(just far enough to escape the sensory overload) with bar seating, tall tables, and a lower level with more seating. Stop in for a sangria (or whatever you enjoy) and say "hi" to Kevin!“

“Ok I want this facing the river but the sunset was glorious. The crab balls/beignets were exquisite. The mini beignets were very good. They had a delicious fruit mocktail. Seating was comfy. The war museum turns on colored lights at night. Honestly it was glorious and we're going back tonight for wings, good. Our waiter, Deishan (spelling) was super helpful. Patiently described dishes and was basically adorable.“

“There aren't enough stars available to give the accolades to this bar and staff that they truly deserve. We usually stay at the hotel across the street from here, and after being berated by hotel staff and having a horrible stay, a friend recommended that we go and have a drink at the Chandelier Bar in the Four Seasons. To be honest, I am usually intimidated by luxury hotels like this, but even though we were casually dressed we were welcomed like royalty from the time we went to the front door which was graciously opened for us, to the mixologists who gave us white glove service like a true hospitality professional does.
Let's be honest, we were there for photos as well as a drink. Their Chandelier Martini was named the best in the US - a title that we found was well deserved. The mixologists were so kind, when we asked to change seats (so we could get better photos) they were happy to oblige. Craig and Clayton were very respectful of our space -they let us start the conversation, and when we asked them about the different cocktails, who designed them, and the "spirit forward profiles" - love that! - they were so knowledgeable and kind about sharing their experiences - it completely changed our moods, and made our trip. We are already planning our next trip so we can try more of the menu, and needless to say, we won't be staying across the street again!
It doesn't cost a thing to be kind and to be in a good mood, but being in a bad mood can be very costly for you, and for the business that you represent. This was a great reminder of why places like the Four Seasons are such a great value in the long run - I will save up to be treated with respect instead of being berated, and I am looking forward to spending many more evenings in the Chandelier Bar with this incredible staff.“

“We decided to pre-game our ghost tour at the Black Penny since it's across from Louis Armstrong Park. It's kinda dimly lit with dark wood & brick inside - perfect for a hot New Orleans afternoon. It wasn't too busy and the bartender served us quickly and had time to chat a little bit. The cocktails were very good and decently priced. Would definitely drink here again.“
