Love Snake's!! Juan (the bartender) is amazing and attentive. I always have a good time and enjoy my Paradise Parks best when they come from Snake's. Fantastic live music on Friday nights from 8-10.Dog friendly (make sure to say hi to Arlo and Peeves!), and they have a great patio for when it gets busy indoors. I don't even remember how we heard about this place, but I'm glad we did! It was a short, pleasant walk from our Airbnb and it being a Monday night, we were the only customers in the bar. This tiny neighborhood dive is lit only by string lights and has the cutest patio out back. I wouldn't recommend this spot for cocktails, which probably won't surprise anyone. Top 5 bars I've been to in NOLA. Cannot wait for our next trip to go back here and visit the friends we made!! I somehow convinced our cousin and his wife to do their gender reveal and the bartender was up for the challenge! He made a blue and pink shot and then poured it for the reveal. It was so much fun! We had the whole bar involved. If you want to get out of the French Quarter and do something cool, this is the place to go.
