Our server Louis was incredibly charming and attentive, giving us excellent menu choices —as it was a hard decision. Every dish was a work of art—both in presentation and flavor. The gateway to PARTY!!this music venue and bar holds live music every day till the wee hours of the morning at times! Their house band Steve Mignano will captivate you for hours and Bangbang and their other bands will not disappoint either! This is a great spot while touring the city and bourbon street or for a fabulous cocktail after an exquisite dinner in the quarter!! Even great for date night or a special event!! A must visit! Their bartenders are fun and inviting and their strawberry lemonade is a cocktail I’d recommend!“

“Have been a Chart Room patron for many years. It's pretty much a plain ol' bar with great juke box and veteran bartenders serving typically strong and inexpensive drinks. About half locals, half out-of-town visitors, most of the out-of-towners being frequent NOLA visitors. At one time I suspected that a few of the regular characters were sent over by Central Casting, but have been going there long enough to now know they're genuine. A recent ownership change, but based on my last visit, no discernible (to me) change.“

“We loved our stay and we have stayed in NoLa many times this is our favorite spot old charm meets spacious rooms and modern amenities. Room was nice with seating and bathroom was lovely. My only complaint was the hot water took awhile to heat up and the phone in the room was broken other than that a perfect stay. The employees were so friendly and offered great food and activity suggestions. Great location close to everything to walk easy to or Uber out but still quiet. Highly recommend!!!“

“Oysters and pita/crab dip were delicious! Service was a little rough. My husband got his oysters before I got my meal- he had that and his drink finished before I received my food. We tried to be patient because they were somewhat busy, but watched our server take off her apron and leave before ever coming back to our table after drop off. We had 2 other waiters and what looked like management walk by several times, and even though I tried to get their attention, never looked our way or stopped. Finally made eye contact with a gal working closer to the front who came over and was very sweet, apologizing as our waitress had just quit. She brought out my food that'd been sitting there for quite a while, so the muffalettas weren't great, coleslaw warm. She never came back or reassigned someone to us, no one checked on us for drink refills, etc. Had to flag her down to place another food and drink order, again because no one else was helping us. After that, zero service, no one stopped at our table to check on us, and nothing 'taken care of' for the mishap. We came at a time where we were able to see the end of one band and start of a new- both fantastic, so that was good. Would recommend based on food and music, maybe not so much service.“

“I live close by and have passed this place so many times on the way to work but never had the time to stop in until today cos I wanted a fun place to go to celebrate my birthday and I've never been one for the maddening crowd that goes along with the vibe that Bourbon St. has. This place is absolutely a great little gem for those who just want to relax and have a drink. The bartender is a complete sweetheart and so friendly, the drinks are very affordable AND strong and I very much enjoyed celebrating my birthday there! It's kind of like the New Orleans version of Cheers LOL I just hope at some point they will have karaoke on the weekends but I will definitely be frequenting there more often from now on.“

“I'm not usually a dive bar gal, but this place stole my heart! I stopped in after leaving a nearby restaurant, and I'm so glad I did. Great priced drinks, a jukebox, and pool tables—what's not to like, honestly?! I even grabbed some wings for a little snack, and they were pretty good too. Another huge plus is that they stay open pretty late, so if dinner is over but you're not quite ready for the night to end, this is definitely a spot to keep the party going.

“We do not recommend! I have never been treated so poorly as a local at a bar in New Orleans EVER! We have family with us from Indiana and wanted to experience an “Indiana” bar. The locals were terrible, the bartender was rude. They all took an active role in making it uncomfortable for all four of us by berating us for ordering a bloody Mary after 2pm. Would have been totally fine with just saying, "sorry, we arent offering/making those right now". Would have gladly ordered another Miller Lite (which we ordered one of and got a high life - didnt say a word, I like high life,too and figured she midheard me or did she??) Heard enough from her and the "in crowd" finally, threw her a $20 and told her we were sorry to cause trouble and left. Hope you buy yourself something pretty with the hefty, less than deserved tip. Anyone who visits this neighborhood….stay away!! Visit Markeys, Pepps or anywhere else! If you aren't one of their group, apparently you are not welcome.“
