“We have been about 6 times with friends and everyone loved everything we tried. The food is fresh with multiple layers of flavor. The negative ratings are about service or wait times. (Which we have not had a problem with) But the food is what matters! I recommend the poblano rice and plantains as sides. Nachos as an appetizer or entree because it is not a hunk of cheese melted on old repeatedly fried chips we find everywhere else. The guacamole is the best I have ever had. But, as a dessert gal, I have tried them all and there is not one I would not get againm(hint: the chocolate cake with flan on top is my favorite)“

“Wonderful lunch experience! Store was recommended by a sales clerk at a nearby business. Our server was outstanding, anticipated our needs very well. All the staff worked hard. The manager was truly interested in our satisfaction and overall expert. Great job- this will be our Mexican choice going forward!“

“I went to Garcia's in Covington for the first time with my mom, sister and neice. Vanessa was our waitress and she was awesome!! The food was really good and fresh. Vanessa was the kind of waitress that I love. She joked with us, answered all our questions, and was a really great server. Service was quick and everything was great. Highly recommended!“

“Wow! One of the best tacos I’ve had on the Northshore! I went a week ago and I picked up some birria tacos, salsa, and horchata. I’ve never had horchata before and omg it was amazing and they gave me a huge cup! So cool! Thank y’all!“

“We have a large family, so I could make a list of the great dishes beautifully prepared (and super fast) at La Carreta’s. The fajitas of course were a hit, the tacos, the burrito, all the fresh stuff and the meat was grilled to the perfect yum! Great experience and totally recommend for drinks, or the family, or a date, whatever. You’ll enjoy it.“

“Friendly service, quick, clean restaurant, huge portions. Pick what you want and load it up! I had a spinach burrito with juicy dark meat chicken and fresh toppings. This could easily become a favorite spot for a quick bite to eat. Plenty of healthy options.
Vegetarian options: A lot to choose from!
Kid-friendliness: Even picky eaters can find something. You design your owl, bowl/burrito/nachos. Only like chicken and cheese? Just get chicken and cheese!“
