“Today I went in a lil mad cuz I didn’t have much time for lunch. They took care of me quick and efficiently. I ordered the large side of Guac with chips thru the line and I ordered the quesadilla online and everything was fresh hot and ready. The Guac was extra good today. I asked the guy servicing and cash name and it was Sabastion and the cash guy was blais the whole crew was nice and welcoming they made my day better.“

We're so grateful to El Paso for letting us celebrate my Mimi and Granny's birthday. I wish I could give them more stars. The staff is always as sweet and amazing. “I'm 50+ years old. Have been to countless restaurants in the US and mexico (Cancun 12 times) and the meal I had tonight was the best I've ever had. The cocktails were great. The service was great. Didn't wait long because somehow we were the only 2 people in the place. It was a Tuesday, and we did have early reservations. (4:30) Not complaining cuz I was able to lie to the wife and tell her I booked the entire restaurant for her. (Yes, she knew I was joking) Now, the food was amazing. I already knew what I was ordering but saw the menu of small plates that wasn't on the menu online and decided to try those after eating a couple of the appetizers. Enjoyed every single thing I tried and after the wife tossed in the towel I still went for the Cantonese fried rice. I thought I was done eating until I was told what was in the dessert. Well worth the stomach cramps I now have as I write this review. Happily people start arriving as we were leaving. I strongly suggest to anyone who spent the time to read all my gibberish and go to this restaurant.........................FYI, this is the first time I've ever felt like I needed to write a review.“

The best part about being served by him he is very attentive to my table and as the host he did not ask me to go sit at the bar he asked me where I would like to sit. Being that I was only eating by myself. I got an appetizer and nachos the food was so well plated and I even had leftovers to eat for later on. “My girlfriend and I came for an early dinner service last week and it was awesome! It was our first time trying out La Caretta, however they had an awesome atmosphere and great food.

We did the fajitas for two, which was a great portion and was very good! Staff were friendly and attentive. Will be back 😁“

“This place is a typical hole-in-the-wall (small and older looking) but the food and service is fantastic. I gave the atmosphere 5 stars because I knew what I was getting into, but this is not a place to go for atmosphere. Lol.

I had the burrito asada with rice and beans, and it was large enough that I cut it in half and brought the rest home for another meal. Chips and salsa are extra - but the salsa is worth it!“

“This place has been around for a few years but I went back last night for a girls night and let me tell you they were amazing . I noticed that they changed the way they plated the food and added a few touches like grilled pineapple & an edible flower . I don’t remember the guys name who served us but it was his first day and he was perfect ! He got all of our orders correct , made all 12 of us our special alcoholic beverages in a timely manner . He was very sweet & friendly . The vibe was perfect ! 10/10 🥰“

I appreciate the amount of salt the margs are rimmed with. Try the seasonal cocktails! Our server Braxton was great and kept us hooked up :) We were in town for one night staying at a nearby hotel; we walked here for our dinner and it was the perfect evening!“

“I have been coming here for 20 years or close to it. I love the hamburgers, garbage can nachos, spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, spinach and shrimp quesadillas, ribs, and recently discovered the Baja taco with salmon this summer. That’s my favorite go to meal now!!! I usually got a margarita on the rocks with dinner. But changed it up with a watermelon daiquiri with tajin on the rim. Delicious! This was one of my mom’s favorite places too. I sure miss going there with her sharing a hamburger together and having margaritas. Great neighborhood restaurant.“

Starting with the frozen margaritas, through the chips, salsa, queso and table side fresh guacamole and onto the tacos, quesadillas and burritos the food was delicious and authentic. Of course a great dining experience includes both food and service and just like the food the service was top notch. The staff truly made it a wonderful experience. “We have enjoyed their food for many years, however something has changed. Their enchiladas are no longer the same. The last time we got them they were raw tortillas with meet inside and some sauce on top. There weren't placed in an oven and covered with sauce and cheese like they use to be. It's disgusting to serve something like this to customers. We will be looking elsewhere unless this changes.“
