“We live two blocks from Taco Bell. Months ago, Chicken Quesadilla was a delicacy and we always bought it. For some reason Chicken Quesadilla now is a totally inferior product to what they used to serve. Now “Crispanada” is one of the best products. We do not lose hope that Chicken Quesadilla will return to the high level we were served before.I rate 5 stars hoping that the manager improves the review I am making

“A magazine review brought us to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Entering our 8th decade on earth we were concerned with the portion size but were extremely pleased. All three courses (Wednesdays and Thursdays) were completed and we were not "stuffed". Next time it's five courses because we don't want to miss out on any of the good food. To say service was exemplary would be an understatement. Each dish was delivered and explained which added to the overall satisfaction. Hope we will be able to greet you there on our next visit (real soon).“

“We never knew this place even existed. Last time we looked it was an abandoned home. The menu was diverse with Mexican, po boys, and some Mediterranean. We all had tacos, birria and fish and they were all great with generous servings. The home made salsa was a nice treat. Give this place a try and don't overlook it. Note that there is off-street parking in the back.“

“It's okay. Teenage hang out in a good neighborhood. Clean. Counter service and plenty of seating options. Need more grilled options and more seafood.

Kid-friendliness: Every other table had a gang of female teenagers. They were appropriately loud and obnoxious, yet safe. I'd let my 16 year old daughter go there with friends, I'm not sure I would go for dine in again. Maybe return for takeout.“

“A nice garden setting in an urban/industrial area. Popular for a reason. They were a little slow on the service the night we went, but honestly, we didn't even notice until they offered free refills of our margaritas as an apology. Class act! Fall/winter/spring recommend since the summer in the swamp is oppressive. Consider to-go when it's hot.“

“I had an event for 50 High School students catered by Felipes and it was perfect. I ordered the Taco Bar and they hit a homerun. There was plenty of food - it arrived on time and still hot. The delivery person helped me get the food inside which I appreciated. Everything that we ordered was there and there was enough food for some leftovers. The students all raved about how great the food was and how excited they were about the cheese dip and chicken tacos. The ordering process on the front end was easy - and the employee Samantha was able to help me adjust the order the day of the event. Outstanding service! A+ FOR FELIPES!“

“Found this place almost by accident and immediately didn't regret it. The restaurant was clean, well managed, and had a friendly staff.

We ordered a variety of favorites and we were pleased that they were authentic and flavorful.
The prices were excellent considering every other restaurant nearby is an overproduced chain restaurant.

Great people, great atmosphere and unbelievably delicious food made with fresh ingredients. Also found everything reasonably priced. “Agave was a great place to eat and bring your family. Food 100 out of 10. Service excellent!!!! Extremely clean and neat. Our server was attentive, nice, and exceptionally helpful. The owner was nice and welcoming. Greeting our family of 6 made us feel comfortable. The food was delicious.the vergetables in our fajita was fresh as if he just left Whole Foods. Might I add the margaritas had me dropping everything. We will definitely be back.“

“Why is it so bright in there? We love the original Juan's on Magazine, and we miss our favorite server there now that we live closer to the one on Oak. I just wish this location had the same dark atmosphere as the original. I appreciate that the music isn't as loud, but it's just not the same.

“What a diamond in the rough! The owner brought out a little setup and made our guacamole dip in front of us while he told us stories of his place and how it started. He was as much of the experience as an authentic Mexican restaurant in the middle of Cajun land. The food was great and came out quickly. If you like Mexican food, this is definitely a stop for you while in New Orleans. We got the taco plates with beef.

“I was born on Jefferson Highway and after eating the amazing food here I can happily die of a food coma on Jefferson Highway. Portions were very surprising in their generosity. “I finally stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner with my kiddo, and I'm glad I did. We ordered the empanadas and chicken and cheese enchiladas and shared both dishes. The food was delicious, but of the two dishes ordered, the chicken and cheese enchiladas were my favorite.

The restaurant itself is very clean and nicely decorated and the service is good. We don't dine out often, but I think this will be a go-to spot for us when we want Mexican food.“

“Let me get by saying this is one of the cutest little restaurants I’ve ever seen. It was really cozy. I started with the carrot and orange juice while I waited on my food and it was so delicious. The staff was super friendly and kept me company while I waited on my order. I’m at Maria the owners daughters who are super sweet, Angelica helped me with figuring out what I wanted to order, Irbiana brought the food out to me, well, Natalie and Beberlin cashed me out.
