Literally the worst cracklins I have ever had in my life. Dry and flavorless. The pork portion was so dry that I was unable to chew/swallow it and the skin part was like shoe leather. I spit most of them out. And the cost is $23.99 a pound.

I usually rave about this place but today was not one of those days. I drive from the westbank just to get the boudin ball with pepper jack cheese, and today I was in the area for my job. Stopped in on my lunch break, these were the absolute worst boudin balls I’ve ever had. They were burnt and taste horrible. You could taste how burnt and hard they were😡

Very friendly knowledgeable service.
Bought alligator sausage, boudin, and smoked pork sausage.
Alligator sausage was delicious
You can also purchase frozen gumbo and other louisiana favorites. Also sampled chicken and pork cracklins.
Yum

Had the gumbo, regular and smoked boudin links, and both boudin balls (regular and PJ). It was all delicious and spicy! Great stop on our way home to Texas

The rice mix in the Boudin was hard and burnt. The seafood ball was hard and dry. I didn't enjoy it all.

Perfect authentic Cajun. Seasoned to perfection. I had the ribs but the sides were amazing as well. Everyone in my large group ordered different dishes and no one was disappointed.

GREAT food! My 8 year old loves the pepper jack boudin balls!

They have frozen items, cold items and hot and ready-to-eat items. Their smoked boudin links, boudin balls, potatoe casserole and pork skins were so very good. I'm looking forward to trying the couple of frozen items I bought. Their prices were reasonable, considering all their choices. And the staff was so nice! The place is so clean. They also have a sit-down room. I will definitely be back...can't believe it took this long to try...so glad I did, you will be too if you give it a try. 😊

This year, for Memorial Day, I decided to buy local from Bergeron's instead of going to Bourgeois Meat Market like I normally do. I am very sorry that I went to Bergeron's. I bought a pack of 2 stuffed pork chops for over $26.00 and a pack of smoked boudin for over $17.00. I thought it was expensive, but it looked really good and saved me a drive to Thibodaux. The stuffing in the pork chops had absolutely no flavor. Stove Top Stuffing is better. The smoked boudin had absolutely no smoked flavor, and other than being somewhat spicy, it was pitiful. You can get 100% better boudin pre-packaged from the Best Stop at Rouse's. This is sad.
