Just moved here from South Florida quite frankly one of the best restaurants I have ever ate at. Have been here multiple times and never had a bad meal or experience. Great service, great food, great ambiance a MUST try! By the way ask for Hollis she is awesome!

Haven't been to this gem across the pond in a while but last night's trip to the Northshore did not disappoint. Del Porto was amazing as always. The bread, the white bean dip, the pastas, steak and chops were all wonderful. The service was outstanding thanks to Gina (manager) and Maddie (server). I’ll be back soon!

My colleague and I had dinner at Del Porto a few weeks ago. We both ordered tagliatelle and mushrooms and we both had food poisoning.

Arrived before Happy Hour ended, which is 6 P.M. Discounted drinks and small plates. The old fashion was excellent. Our party ordered a variety of small plates to share, including small pizza, Fritti (fried seafood and vegetables) and Stromboli (provolone and salami with homemade marinara sauce). All were very good with Stromboli taking the first place. For the main event I ordered Osso Buco. The Osso Buco was served over mashed potatoes and spinach in a rich gravy. This was the first time I had pork Osso Buco, smaller than a veal Osso Buco but a very nice portion, nevertheless. The Osso Buco was Outstanding. Finished the evening with the Lemon Penna Cotta. Besides the food, I have to shout out to Sean, our server. It has been a long time since I had such personal and attentive service. He was fantastic along with all the support staff. Sean made us feel as though we had our own personal butler. ENJOY, we did, and we will be back.

We were turned away at the door. Hostess said unfortunately we are all booked up tonight. I asked the whole night? She said yes. We got back in the car and I was immediately able to find a table 45 minutes later.

Food and service were excellent. Noise level made it very difficult to have a conversation at the table.

The food was delicious from the caprese salad appetizer to the risotto and the snapper. Even though I wasn't able to get my osso buco, the snapper was light and tasteful.

Ben was very gracious and informative. The Amberjack special and the house-made tagliatelle were outstanding as was the wine. I don't usually have dessert but opted to this time; the tiramisu did not disappoint and my husband loved the smoked Italian coffee.

My wife and I have enjoyed Del Porto's since they opened. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and professional and we've never had a bad dish. Del Porto's is our favorite restaurant in Louisiana.

This was a very cool & fancy dinner spot for my friend's birthday dinner. We enjoyed their happy hour drinks and shared a big charcuterie style spread. Our entrees were also pretty good. Overall, great vibe for dinner with friends or a date night. Its location makes it a great spot to relax and eat and even go for a walk around downtown Covington.

Dined at Del Porto last night to celebrate our 37th Anniversary. Our server presented my husband and me with two glasses of Prosecco so we could toast our special day. Nice touch! We started with the white bean and artichoke purée which was served with crostini and the special Fritti Misti. Both were excellent. We were grateful that our server recommended we split the Caesar salad because the half portions were larger than most full size salads. Another excellent choice! My husband had the house made cavetelli with fennel sausage and I opted for the lemon marscapone risotto with grilled shimp. It was good but I think I would have preferred the risotto without the marscapone. For our next course, my husband had a huge pork chop and I opted for the tuna special. My tuna was moist and cooked to perfection! The portions were quite large and more than I could eat. My husband ordered a peach and blueberry crostata for dessert and let me have some for a little taste of something sweet to end my meal. Everything was delicious and our server showed just the right degree of attention and added to making our dinner a very pleasant experience. The room was a bit noisier than I like but that is often the case with a popular restaurant with patrons enjoying themselves at just about every table. Glad to have tried Del Porto and will probably make another trip from Baton Rouge to dine there again.

Several Ben was great. Menu somewhat limited, but good. Some portions (especially salads) are too large. We liked that half portions of the pasta dishes were available. Limited wine list, but good selections for what was there. Art is amazing!

I hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner at Del Porto and could not have ask for a better experience! The environment, the service, the food was all top notch. They really went the extra mile to make such a special event happen. I highly recommend them for your private event.

Upon entering the restaurant the first thing I saw was a man sitting in flip flops with his disgusting dirty feet projected out into the aisle. We ordered a couple of appetizers which were quite good and served "somewhat timely."A large table of diners were seated near us with many guests and this is where our service went bad as we rarely saw the waiter as he knew this table would render him a larger tip than ours. The braised osso bucco was decent but lackluster. My wife ordered the New York strip that was tough, overcooked and grisly. Clearly this steak was not prime nor was it choice, possibly it was select maybe from Walmart. The restaurant itself is very nice. Our waiter was professional but slow and I rarely saw him.The support staff was mindless. The appetizers above average but can be duplicated at home.Napkins were were full of lint and need to be replaced.Won't be back.Dennis M.
