A random Yelp search for good desserts in Covington led me here, and I will surely be back when I'm in Covington again. I came in to order a side and dessert to go, but the bartender Van was so charming that I decided to take and seat and eat my food at the bar. Based on my preferences he made me a delicious cucumber and strawberry mocktail with all the right mix-ins. The overall atmosphere was lovely and the bar is no less so. Definitely a good choice. Apparently, customers receive a complimentary meatball in marinara with a few slices of garlic bread. I decided that eating in the restaurant was the best idea at that point. Van was charming, as were his coworkers and one of the owners who checked in on me personally a few times. I ordered the crawfish macaroni, which was delicious but not to my preference in the end. He removed it from the bill and I ordered the crawfish-stuffed, twice-baked potato to go. At the end, I was delighted with the bananas foster bread pudding which was better than I had dreamed.

The best steak I ever had! Their Mac and cheese with crawfish, their buttery garlic smashed potatoes! I want to celebrate my next birthday at this place. Our server, I think his name was Carson, was awesome. We celebrated my father in law birthday at this place. It was great!

I decided to take my husband out for a date night on a whim and I'm glad so that we came here! From the moment we walked in, the hostess had greeted us and brought us to our seats where the dining room was filled with the aroma of fresh food all around us. It is certainly hard to decide on what to eat because so many of the menu items were tempting but I can assure you that if you go that you won't be disappointed.
Wait staff, hostess, bartenders were all great. Professional, fast and entertaining. Food was sizzling hot when it arrived and the taste was excellent. Out favorite was the crab cake appetizer ?. I got the petite sirloin and my wife got the scallops. Both were delicious and my compliments to the chef/s and staff!

Desi never disappoints! It always has the best food and drinks along with the best service in town !! We love this place whether we are just doing a date night or celebrating something special !! Kevin always makes you feel special and happy to see you and that you are dining with Desi Vega. If you haven't been yet you must go I promise you will love it!

Piggy Powerline. It's the only place that has it. Unique! It's a meat restaurant, but the salads are great too.
My family and I love to have dinner here. We are never disappointed, whether it be the food or the service. The waiters are always polite and helpful. My favorite steakhouse in Covington by far.

Came to celebrate my husbands birthday. His steak was under seasoned, my steak was medium well and I asked for medium. We paid for a burned dessert. Service was good. Prob wouldn’t dine here again.

I've ate at the one in New Orleans plenty of times and the food always was good. This was my first time in Covington and the food was burnt. The service was good but the food wasn't. Mac and cheese was too cheesy and i asked for a strawberry shortcake and got a fudge cake that was hard
We dine, usually at the bar with Van, at least once per month. Service and food is always top notch! The team goes out of their way to show their appreciation! So thankful for this location on the northshore!!!

I like to eat at the bar and the level of service I am treated to there is absolutely the best- cordial, professional, knowledgeable, and warm. The bartender I like to see there is Van. He goes out of his way to make sure my experience there is great! This restaurant is the epitome of consistency. The food is delicious and always cooked perfectly. And the Caesar salad is the best I’ve had. The service is top notch. I highly recommend this place.
